I wonder if this is enough for coach Pennanen to realize that he HAS to throw Finland's lines 2-4 into a blender. Gotta come up with some new ideas.

So what you're saying is your opinion as Finnish is objective, but Canadians fans are not.

K.

If I see a Finn diving like that, I am the first to admit it.
I have a hunch that you are not that person though so i wont waste my breath on you any more.

Your D is doing the minimum. Your forwards are breaking up the play of Finland so effectively that the Finns are constantly on a 1-2 or 2-3 attack where they should never get past your D.
Yeah i dont know its just the forwards. Ive seen a couple of shaky plays out of a couole of others. Byram and drysdale? Never.

Fins playing as conservatively as they are is part of the reason they're facing a constant onslaught. The whole team is at or near the goal line when they break out behind the net. Can't generate much offense like that.

*Byfield gets crosschecked in the back and is pulling out his own teeth on the bench*
*outshooting 17-1*

"Cheap"
"Canadians dive"

Honestly, just lmao

Ok you need to get your eyes checked. It was Canadian stick that hit Byfield on the ugly noggin. Penalty for Finland for what exactly?

The constant whining isn’t a good look. FYI, that was a slash on the hands during a scoring opportunity = gets called every single time. Be grateful you didn’t take one for the crosscheck on Byfield.

What’s funny about it is that it’s a good penalty to take.

If I’m coaching, and I have, you tell your player to do that every time.

Better a PK than letting a guy go in unmolested at the goalie.

Unfortunately we're a one line team. That was enough to get wins in the previous games, now the story is much different.

We've been offensively challenged all tournament long.
