Very poor period from Bedard. I think it's catching up to him now. Coaches gotta tell him to play faster. Make quicker decisions, get rid of pucks more quickly.

Cormier was horrible as well. Fell over on his own on the PP and a few horrible giveaways as well. Once just passed the puck to the Czechs when he was the last man. Wtf.

Impressive period from the Czechs. They were outshot but created some great scoring chances. Garand was forced to make a few quality saves. They also didn't allow much. The first goal was a lucky bounce (though because it was McTavish it may not have been luck) off McTavish and the 2nd one was a genius move from Johnson. A few crazy saves from Suchanek but also many routine ones. Czechs did a very good job boxing out.

I was thinking that this Canada looks very beatable. The way we finns play, could counter Canadian's play quite well.

I know its nearly impossible for them to beat Canada but they surely got some great prospects.

Played well with Hamara and Kulich in U18.

Bedard just didn't skate hard to get back, and assumed that the rush would be taken care of. If he had hustled, he would've been back to cover a man.

Downside of 4 forwards and one offensive Dman on the PP.

They are getting burned on transition/turnovers too often, you can get away with that against a lot of teams here but not the likes of Finland.

Finland isn't gonna have a chance against Canada.

With the way our defense is playing all of Sweden, Finland, and especially the Americans are going to have a good chance against Canada. Way too much roaming and poor pinching. We may not have given up a lot of shots in any of the games but a startling number are high danger. Have to wonder if the lack of RD is contributing to the confusion.

This game isn't over yet either.
