Love this tournament. Really fun to watch a bunch of talented kids play for their countries and not half ass around the place for a bloated paycheque. The momentum shifts, the speed, the mistakes, the drama, the crowd. Honestly think hockey doesn't get much better as a spectator and I'd be saying that even if my team lost. Has kind of missed that the last couple years. This year's might have been the best I've watched as far as how competitive the games were.

Congratulations to Czechia on their Silver medal, had one hell of a tourney and played one hell of a game. Also to Halifax and Moncton on their job hosting. Atmosphere looked incredible. The Maritimes are f***ing awesome.

I get it. But, Czechia is in tears after “winning” silver. USA was hyped when they won Bronze. It just shouldn’t be that way I think. I’d like a silver medal match in all honesty.
That is entirely natural and common. This is a well studied occurrence in psychology.

Even in direct Olympic events, the bronze medalist tend to view it as a victory over the others while Silver winners feel that pain harder that they were so close to 1st.

Birthday boy scores and part of a Gold winning team.

Well done all around top to bottom by the team.

Never get tired of seeing a Canadian team when Gold.

Hockey is our game baby.

The Czechs don't seem "appreciative" because they just had their hearts broken in a grasping chance at gold in OT. They're kids and hurt right now thinking about what could've been. To imply otherwise is ridiculous.

It will be one of their prized possessions not long from today.
I don't think any of them even considered pulling a "Lias Andersson" move. (bratty little untalented suck that he is)

It makes sense... Or Sarnia. Or about ten other non NHL cities across Canada. Listening to Halifax sing on Canada and heave away is absolutely beautiful.
Ontario cities won't replicate what the East Coast can do.

And this is coming from a life long Ontarian.

The East Coast is the best coast.
