I call that the 'perfect hockey shot' and have been working like hell to get it for my beer league. I tend to hit glass a lot but this is the shot I want
.. near a post... Higher than the pad and lower than the glove... Nightmare to stop. That was textbook! One inch lower and it is an easy pad save... 5 inches higher and easy glove save. That, to me, was a very deliberate and perfect shot.

You're right but there is a reason we gave him the nickname 'Shortside Monty'.

He has improved a great deal over the last couple years on the Habs though.

We got him off waivers from the Panthers. He was rough in his first year but last season he was very good, much improved. It was great to see (despite our bad season). He basically won over a fanbase that was used to Carey Price level goaltending.

Dobes & Mysak will probably get their chance in a few seasons for sure.
