I'm a finn and I don't think the shove and Lundells fall were penalties.
The shove was light and Lundell was not tripped, he just lost his balance if you watch the replay.

I thought the game got better when the refs put their whistles away. It's the way it should be.

Finland I would say as well, this was their b team, on the other end of the scale this was Canada’s Z- team. B is closer to A than Z- is closer to A.

Obviously being ranked third in the group was a significant advantage compared to being ranked fourth but it was regardless the last game of the group phase. At the puck drop the reality of the situation had been known for many hours.

And then what? Throw your game plan into the trash bin a few hours before face off time and tell your guys not to try seriously after all, hoping that the opponent you were preparing to beat makes the same conclusions?

The way I see it that kind of thing could only occur if the game is tied in the 3rd period and neither team wants to risk it before OT anymore.

For a defensive team, Finland’s PK was really bad

If it makes you feel good our powerplay wasn't better either.

Our guys cannot shoot to score especially in powerplay
meanwhile yours can because even Canadian peewee hockey kids knows what shoot to score means.

There is crystal clear reasons why guys like Pokka, Kaski, Koivisto, Ohtamaa aren't NHL players
( they're not good enough to play in NHL )

what you'll get if you cannot shoot to score when you have powerplay.
5 attempts on powerplay for Finland and zero goals is freaking pathetic performance.
But when your powerplay players are stone hands like Kaski etc what you can expect.

Also penalty killing wasn't better either and thanks a lot for idiotic penalties
to misters Ohtamaa and Ruohomaa. You two goddamn idiots destroyed our gold medal dreams.

Also i have to ask what a hell Koivisto was doing in Canada's 1st powerplay goal.
Is penalty killing dman's job to clear that goddamn puck out of best scoring sector
or is it stand there like hard and erected c**k in Russian catch house
because that's basically all what Koivisto did and Comtois scored.

Yeah yeah i know damn well that because covid19 and NHL playoffs
and injuries and NHL contract negotiations we didn't get
