the QF. It is funny to see the Finland fans making excuses, blaming the refs for their loss. The 3 on 3 was agreed to in 2019. So hilarious to see the Finnish fans being poor sports. Your A or B team got beaten by Canada's Y Team. I had not even heard of many of the players on Team Canada. I thought they would be lucky to make it to the QF. Every European team treats the World Hockey Championship as their Stanley Cup.

European teams like Finland and Russia should be ashamed of themselves for losing to this Team Canada roster. Such a great feeling to win in Europe with this Canadian roster.

Nobody had an A or B team here..put down the Molson bud...good grief the inferiority complex by some is insane.

It was a great game and and I am proud of ALL the damn players who showed up from ALL countries to even give a shit to do this in a damn bubble. But get off your damn high horse, you didn't beat anyone's A or B team.

On a side note..Nick Paul looked awesome out there..big kid with a hopeful bright future for Ottawa..

The shove was light and Lundell was not tripped, he just lost his balance if you watch the replay.

Lundell’s was a textbook hooking, the defender had his stick across Lundell’s body stuck in his armpit.

There's always next year. The Finnish WJC teams are some of my favourite from the last few years.

And even though I'm Canadian and Canada won, it's cool but still an overall meaningless tournament. Teams don't get their best roster, the format is sort of a joke, especially 3v3 OT in a gold medal game.

If you thought NHL referees were spineless in regular playoff OT, how could you expect an IIHF referee to call a penalty in 3v3 OT and swing the game that way?
Entire referee systems in hockey need to be overhauled.

Competitive game that could have went either way, once again you guys show what a hockey power and force your country is in this sport that you love as much as Canadians do.

Pleasure as always, things are intense when the games on but it’s always to show respect to a worthy opponent.

It's usually always a struggle to beat them and never a moment to hang your head in shame when you lose to them.

They're the real deal.

Seriously what is this rubbish I keep reading here? None of the teams participating in the tournament had their A teams in the tournament - get over it. That is why we have the Olympics. I'd still rate the Canadian team the best skill wise - and probably one of the reasons why they won eventually. I'm sure every poster on this forum knows the material advantage Canada has on every level.

You are clearly under the illusion that this Team Finland is anywhere close to the best. There's one player who might make the best on best team (Määttä) and even that is just barely. You indeed know very little of hockey if that was not clear to you.
