It was the Canadian Y Team against every one else's A or B team. I predicted Canada would be lucky to make it to the QF (LOL). I had not watched any game all tournament, except for the last two. What a great final game though. This tournament is not the World Championship of Hockey. It is the European Championship. Every European country treats it like their Stanley Cup. So happy to see this collection of players play their heart out, and win the Gold Medal in Europe, against countries who treat this tournament as their Stanley Cup. These European nations should be ashamed of themselves for losing to this roster of Canadian players. Great feeling man.

Well, no matter what tourney/league, reffing is always whined about. To be fair, it was bad but it was evenly bad. The problem with those "non-calls" in overtime was that the gold medal is decided by a 3on3 nonhockey gimmick. Giving a penalty affects the game alot more than a regular 5on4 so it is pretty obvious that whistles will be swallowed, which itself is a problem. Also, it is the final game of the tournament, just go 5on5 untill a goal. It's not like they have to play tomorrow. Let the tournament winner be decided by actually playing the same game that is played during regulation.
