Speaks volumes when a Mexican side is just hanging on against what is probably a Canada B team.

I remember when all we had was De Rosario.

They are playing us like Guatemala would.. Just a foul fest

I am glad RR and Kamal got on. Odd to recall Sam and not play him but I guess he was here in case Davies had an issue.

Very rare off day for Forge and an even more rare victory for Halifax over them. Did it in style in front of the home fans to keep the dream alive.

Marseille won 2-0 over Nice. Bomb was suspended and Corn managed to get two yellows so he will be suspended for a game. Bombito should feature Friday vs St. Etienne.

No huge Euro updates.. - few notes from those not involved in the National team last window.

Jebbison watch.. came off the bench for Watford.

Hoilett got a half for Hibs, nice to see him back.

Brym got a half for Sparta

Ugbo started for Wednesday

Bair was on the bench for Auxerre - did not get off it.

Potentially one of the worst games in Forge franchise history. They looked brutal.

Good for Halifax though and also big for the race for that final playoff spot.

Halifax went down to 10 men once again... in a crucial match. Nimick ... again... The captain is having a Xhaka year where he just cannot stay on the pitch.

took leads of 1-0 and 2-1 while down and a 96th minute goal tied it. Devastating.

Russell-Rowe started up top for Columbus tonight and got his first assist of the season. He now seems to have picked up a knock. TFC need to try and get something out of this.

Did I read that it was the 7th time you guys have gone down to 10-men this season? Might have been over the past 2 seasons or something, I forget the stat off the top off my head. Tough to win games on the constant PK.

Man those 3 points would have been huge for Halifax.

I didn't catch the number but it feels like it could be 7 this year, Nimick just came back from suspension and it was his own poor touch that led to a second yellow in 10 minutes. He has to clean that up. Cannot have your captain putting you down to ten men three or four times in a short CPL season.

Yeah that is brutal.... How many points has he cost them? They would have a foot in the door for the playoffs if not for him.

Bombito takes his place in the middle of the Nice back 3. Match starts in 25 minutes.

ummmm... 4 goals in 26 minutes for Nice.

Guessand - what a goal. St. Etienne with a triple change at 35 minutes.. 35!! and they concede within a minute to go 5-0 down.

Boys and Girls.. Liam Miller rode a challenge, great pass and then Slater found the top bunk. Hull take a 2-1 lead on a crappy night at Stoke.

People seem to hate Millar ( I am not amongst them) but he is really showing his full game.. another goal created . He has come off the bench at half and completely changed this game. 3-1.

The hate came when Soccer went more mainstream here. Feels like people in Canada need to find there scapegoats in all situations.

I'll need watch highlights of this one. The one thing Millar has in abundance is technical ability, glad to hear he is showing that today!

He had the Stoke right back tied in knots.

He was their player of the month in August and helped get them a big win at Stoke as they have not had great results. Combining well with Slater and Palmer.

It's a strange narrative. I think the emergence of Shaffelburg on national TV mixed with Millar's poor penalty skewed some casuals opinions.

He's one of a few players we have with the technical ability to play every formation.

He wasn't great at the Copa but David was worse and he didn't get that kind of hate. (which I am fine with by the way. Don't want anyone getting hate).

On a side note, Messi's boy Kamal has been playing left back for Portland... Can't see us having to do that on the National team.. In fact, it feels like Kamal's spot in in jeopardy heading to 26.
