Dylan Strome almost where he belongs. in civvies in the pressbox. but he'll get there.
Kudos to him though for answering the call and showing up.
Bertuzzi lining up on D. should be fun.
rub a bit of ice on it and get out there. you'd be better off if you had lost some pearly white. girls dig the Bobby Clarke look.
First two Canadian lines are potent. Stone and marchessault would make best Canada.
Stone makes my Team Canada best team right now. The guy is developing into a pretty good all around player.

Stone is better. Stone drives his line. Point doesnt.
There's only 1 RWer making Team Canada. and it comes down to either Marner or Stone. I got Marner. So, unless we lose a righthanded center (Bergeron MacKinnon Scheifele to IR) I don't think Stone makes it. I have Point ahead of him as well on a 25 man roster.
But I love Stone. dude is a gamer.
The Sens could never match the Vegas offer.I still can't believe the Sens let Stone go... and I might actually be moving to Ottawa... sigh
I think all 3 would make the team anyways.Stone is your prototypical Canadian player who can contribute in so many different ways.
I'd say he easily has the advantage over Marner and Point.
If not for TSN team USA would have almost no coverage, but I get your point, would be annoying for me If I was Canadian.I am still scratching my head over this, what is with TSN and this daily chit chat at the cafe with team U.S.A players? And also with in what has been for a few years now must have co-coverage along with Team Canada games at international events like the Wjc and whc?
Did I miss something and we became the 51st state somewhere along the way?
It's weird, guys, you are a Canadian sports channel, you are not supposed to be showcasing team u.s.a!
Goddamn.I can see Stone making Canada’s A team on his defense alone. Imagine him and Bergeron on a line together, oh baby
It's just bizarre, I don't get what's behind it all.If not for TSN team USA would have almost no coverage, but I get your point, would be annoying for me If I was Canadian.

Kane and jvr in todays "coffee talk" Dreger has been the master of ceremonies in these little vignettes, it's the team U.S.A show!!. I mean I could understand if they were doing these little segments with players from all different countries, a sort of short little segment covering the players from the tournament, that would make sense. but this thing so far has just been strictly U.S players. WTF?I've only seen it with the Hughes brothers, and they're pretty much products of Canadian hockey anyway. TSN always hypes up prospects and the draft too. I get TSN talking up Matthews all the time given that he's on Toronto, but he isn't on the American team. Have they been talking about others?

Haven't you also noticed that for the past few years they have taken it upon themselves to co - showcase the American games along with Canada's at the WJC and WHC? I mean they make it a point to show all of their games on the main tsn channel now, if Sweden is playing Russia and the U.S is playing Kazachstan at the same time it's a given now that you are getting the U.S game, the make sure they are in the prime spot regardless of the quality of game. I am sure Canadian fans who are into these tournaments and loyally watch each year all want to see the better game but no.............tsn make sure it's the U.S game played on the main channel regardless. Do they really think we in Canada are in love with U.S hockey or something? They of all people know they are our biggest rival now and there is absolutely zero love lost between us.
I mean, the u.s is just another team in the tournament, there is absolutely no reason to have a special co-focus on them along with the Canadian team. There was never any special status with them in the past. A major Canadian t.v sports outlet with a seemingly "second team".Has this ever been done before anywhere by anyone?
I just don't get, it's as if some backdoor deal has been made or something. Something is just not adding up here slats. You gotta wonder if some cash has been exchanged here.
Very fishy.
I guess so. i dunno, it's still odd..........this co focus on them, I just can't see this happening on any other countries big sports channels for other countries, especially rival ones, can you? I mean, can you see it happening on espn? A focus on Canadian games and players in the world baseball classic or worlds in basketball just because our players can comfortably speak english and are their next door neighbor? and forget the cafe chit chats( i have yet to see one of them dreger has done with a Canadian player yet but perhaps i've missed them) what about the emphasis that is put on their games at the expense of others?Who would be paying TSN to do it?TSN wants eyeballs. Interviewing someone like Van Riesmdyk is odd yeah but I can see Kane. TSN wants to showcase whoever will draw attention. In the past USA was pretty irrelevant in international hockey, but now USA has a significant number of quality players. Players who can comfortably converse in English and who aren't going to have many other interview opportunities if they refuse to speak to TSN. I don't think it's some kind of conspiracy.

It just doesn't make sense when you think about it, it's just odd.
