Yeah they do a phone call. It would be disrespectful for the players to hear it from the media first.

Hockey Canada already has their team picked minus 2-3 players. Why they invite this many guys after they had a summer camp is beyond me

No. It's a good idea.

Obv. final cuts depend on if they are taking 2 or 3 goalies, if it's 3 goalies then that obv. they have to cut another player.
