Can anyone see the Bruins not winning the cup?

The Bruins are on pace for one of the best seasons in history. Now they just added Orlov and Hathaway. As far as roster construction goes, they have literally no flaws. This may be the last year of their captain and the players have clearly rallied around that.

Sometimes the best team doesn't always win, but I ask does anyone see this Bruins team losing in the playoffs?

Bruins look like a well oiled machine right now. They’re the favorites to win the cup but anything can happen. That being said, I have them winning the cup.

The only way I can see it blowing up for them is if Ullmark suddenly comes down to earth but I don’t see that happening.

I'd put even the best team at 25% or less to win the cup. There are so many things that can happen from injuries, goalie form (for both teams) to running into a Cinderella team where everything clicks.

Sometimes a team is just too good to let those factors affect them. Last years Colorado team went 16-4 while not really getting all that good goaltending from Kuemper. Boston might very well be that team this year.

It’s hockey, it’s pretty easy to imagine any team failing to win it all. A hot goalie, cold shooters, injury, plain old bad luck, etc

There's so many good teams in the East that it's going to be an extremely difficult path to the SCF. Once the playoffs start everything resets to 0-0.

Since 85/86 only 8 teams went on to win the Stanley cup after winning the presidents trophy…..last team was Chicago in 13.

Lol, they're not winning the Cup OP. A lot of fluke wins like how the Panthers got that ridiculous record last year. But the main reason they're not winning the Cup is because they're going to win the President's Trophy. Tampa losing to Columbus, shame on you, another 60+ win team potentially losing like Bruins, shame on me. Not taking them in my bracket.
