I kinda expected the Bruins to lose, they were incredibly good but their core is near ancient. I questioned if they could go the distance.

I, and most reasonable Bruins fans, had plenty of worries about Bergeron and Krejci holding up for four rounds.

Just didn't think Father Time would come knocking before Game 1.

I thought if there was a big upset to happen with how Florida was playing lately I thought it could be them but when Boston went up 3-1 I thought they had this for sure. Im blown away that they lost the series.

Playoffs are a strange beast but one thing about dominant teams that flame out in the playoffs: they are usually young / inexperienced teams. This Bs squad has veterans with an F ton of experience in the right areas, and a ton of good 'youth' elsewhere.

Bergy/Krejci/Marchand know what it takes, and they've bred an amazing culture in the room (also Chara's impact is still felt).

This isn't some high flying offensive powerhouse ripping through the regular season - it's led by some of the best old guys in the game.

Plus they are instilling this mentality in our young guns.
Well this aged poorly. Kudos Florida.

Also I will be hiding for at least 2 weeks from this site. It's not personal, I just shut off all sports related information for at least 2 weeks after elimination. I may actually never resurface after this one TBH.

Good luck, those who remain.

The Bruins are on pace for one of the best seasons in history. Now they just added Orlov and Hathaway. As far as roster construction goes, they have literally no flaws. This may be the last year of their captain and the players have clearly rallied around that.

Sometimes the best team doesn't always win, but I ask does anyone see this Bruins team losing in the playoffs?
Wow, and that Ulmark flop will get the Vezina?:help::D
