Post-Game Talk: Campbell plays, Leafs win

We did a great job of clogging up our defensive zone tonight. We didn't give them very many good looks and no second chances. Our defense rocks!

That version of the Hellebuycks? Right beside the Oilers and the Flames as teams I'd like to face in the playoffs.

Seems like they skate poorly.

Almost makes you forget about that game against the Hellebuycks where their tender stood on his head. What was that? 2 matches ago?

Leafs are more offensively dangerous on the PK than the PP.

We got a great team though. That proves it, but you is right sire. That first pp should have tavares in there and not joey big. He belongs on the second unit, joey that is.

Only saw the third period and the boys didn’t crack and played really good. AM is always in good position in the Dzone.
Campbell is so calm and poise.
If Campbell can play like today every game, Leafs will make some noise in the playoffs.

Nice easy win against the apparent "scary" jets.

Jets could barely create a scoring chance in this one.

Yeah, they were trailing pretty much the whole game and only managed a pretty lucky PP goal from distance. They remind me a lot of the Carlyle era Leafs

Kind of worried about Nylander and Tavares
They aren’t getting anything going we’ve tried Galchenyuk, Thornton, Hyman, Kerfoot and nothing’s worked. They really need to step cuz they aren’t providing anything as a second line

That whole sequence on Hyman’s goal was pretty sweet. The vision of Bogosian’s pass to Marner coming off the boards, Marner crazy deke and cross seam pass to Matthews, then a post shot from Matthews leaving the puck in the blue paint for Hyman to do his thing.
