The Flames have a looooot of tweeners/strong depth. The Wranglers will be one of the top three teams in the league this year. Not surprised they are mopping the floor with other team's squads in preseason.

As for the actual Flames... well... probably a bottom 5 team when all is said and done. Would be comical if this was one of those Flames years where they completely overperform and surpass all expectations but I'm not holding my breath.

Oooooooooooo. Lol. 😂 And that’s why you had to quote my post saying you didn’t get it. Makes less than no sense. But whatever. Try and save face
I’m being genuine, but I understand if you don’t believe. I have a very deadpan humour even my friends can’t tell if I’m joking sometimes.

Perhaps you are right, if my jokes go too far that people can’t tell, maybe I need to tweak my humour a bit.

Regardless of if you believe me or not, I thank you for helping me gain some self awareness.

With a win over Kraken, they are #1 in the standings. 6 games, 5 wins and 1 OTL. Only team that doesn't have a regulation loss so far.

A lot of guys were writing them off prior to the season. But that team still has a lot of talent and they are hungry to prove themselves. Are they going to be a playoff team again?
I hereby give them the Preseason Championship.

A Canadian team has finally won something. Congrats.

Skip the regular season and just have the Sabres and Flames play a series for the cup, tbh. Save everybody a lot of time.
Honestly I could see a crazy year where that happens. Sabres finally break the curse marching to the cup and Huberdeau playing the best hockey of his life and regaining his form trying to get traded resulting in him fueling the flames to a Stanley cup final appearance.

Iceland II the hotter crappier version.
I hear Calgary City Hall has created a 2025 Stanley Cup Parade Planning Commission. I also hear they are bringing in outside help and planning expertise from Toronto, Vancouver, and Edmonton.
Seems to me the logical thing here would be to get on the Parade Planning Commission and run it by your house, so you don't have to go out to watch it.

I plan on making a trip to downtown Calgary next Saturday to scout out primo SC parade viewing locations.

Arrived late to this one ,is there still time to mock the OP?

You've been here long enough, you know how this works......OP is long gone and isn't likely to return to this thread.

Just another drive-by.

....So, yes, there's plenty of time, at least 'til the "powers that be" lock this one up anyway.
