I'll point out something pretty obvious. If you look at the team with maurice after 3 games, there hasn't been alot of odd man rushes against. Also the gap seems better and they don't seem to be coming in as fast. The back checking and the players covering for the D is also improved.

You know, with buff as forward now, I really think that relieves some pressure on the forwards and d-men to cover him every time he jumps up in the play or when he turns over the puck. Buff was such a liability before when he was a dmen. Glad that he accepts being a forward since that makes the team a lot better IMO.

I think the shorter shift lengths under Mo are making a huge difference too. The team seems to have so much more jump through the game than they used to.

I am still chuckling over that OT goal and how Trouba blasted that guy into his own net. The combination of a nasty edge, guts, and outright talent is such fun to watch. What is this guy going to look like in 2 to 3 years? Can't wait.

The chief scout is the same but the staff has increased in numbers and resources.

Lots of the fathers will have been there as the Jets are taking fathers and others along on this road trip . A lot of teams have done this but this will be the first for the franchise I believe.

A great thing for the club to do and terrific that the club is on a roll right now , makes the atmosphere better I am sure.

Great efforts on the three goals , really , three very strong individual plays that made a difference.

Trouba got 2 big goals , BIG goals but wow Scheifele's goal was sweet , he simply is making a consistent difference and producing.

Coach stated he loved this time slot , whether that is posturing or not .

Also , I am reminded what Kevin Cheveldayoff's spouse said , there is winning , and there is hell . No in between.

Somebody pointed out on the Edmonton board that Belov actually trips over Petry going by and they're 100% correct. Great call on the refs to let that go, a penalty wouldn't have been the right call but it would have been hard to blame them. Good on them.

Disagree on Ladd and Pardy. I think Ladd has really picked it up the past 3 games and I think Pardy has been solid all year. Just my opinion though.
