Prospect Info: C/W Jiri Kulich, 28th Overall, 2022 NHL Draft; Recalled 11/15/2024

What did Kulich do to Granato that he isn't getting a real/another shot?
He is young. A few players need some looks. They can probably rule out Biro and Murray after tonights game. Rosen did nothing so Kulich is probably next.

Sometimes it's okay to let a guy simmer in the AHL for a little longer than they/us may like. It did wonders for the post-lockout Sabres core in 05.

Also, I'm selfish and got tickets to the Americans game down here against the Checkers next month and if Kulich isn't playing I'm going to be ticked off.

I still wonder what they think Kulich is going to play at the next level. They've worked him a lot at center most of this year but he still seems to project out as a quality, 2-way wing option and of course has that heavy shot. Seeing him getting worked in at center in the AHL has me wondering.

But we know at the U20's, he'll be on Sapovaliv's wing with Sale on the other side. The expectations should be high and it would be a shock if he isn't able to deliver since that's what he is already doing at the AHL level.

That's correct. Granato had a justification for limiting Savoie's TOI that made sense to me, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Pus, we're about to have our guest over for Christmas lasagna dinner

Enjoy dinner! I miss Christmas lasagna (Scime's sausage, uncased for a couple layers, sliced hard-boiled egg for a layer) even if I had to make the thing.

I brought some over for a potluck. Went with a hamburger and hot Italian sausage mix in the sauce, and did a thin mild chorizo layer for extra tooth some. It came out quite well if I say so myself

One Christmas I used a can of Rotel in my homemade sauce for my lasagna and it gave it a really nice but not overwhelming tang.

I made a 13 bean and sausage soup a couple of weeks ago made with hot Italian sausage, chorizo, and kielbasa. It came out amazing.

Hol' up. Christmas *lasagna*? Is that a WNY thing?

Big honor for Kulich to be named captain. Hope he crushes it in the tourney, and gets back to doing what he's already been doing in Rochester.
