Not a chance. Like zero chance. He is still minimum 1/2 year away possibly full year. He needs to get much stronger.I thought he looked great last night. Seems like he's ready to be an impact player, wouldn't be surprised to see him get pulled into playoff games if Winnipeg struggles to score.
I couldn't believe the league allowed him to fall to us at pick #30. I was, and still am ecstatic about him being a Winnipeg Jet. He'll be the next player jersey I getAhh, so many wrote him at the draft, and many discarded his season in WHL, but man Winnipeg is out of crows now. First many of us Jet-fans need to eat beacuse the team is good, and then Winnipeg need to serve "experts" crow beacuse their bad takes on Lambert...
The 2022 draft is actually turning out to be one of the best drafts this org has ever had. McGoarty, Lambert, and Salomonsson all in one foul swoop is clean work by Chevy and the scouting dept.I couldn't believe the league allowed him to fall to us at pick #30. 32/32 teams would 100% take a player with the speed, skill and confidence of Nik Ehlers, but who can play center. Nevermind taking him at 30th overall AFTER drafting Rutger Mcgroarty 14th.
Chevy following that 1st round up by taking Elias Salomonsson 55th overall is gonna be studied by future GMs and front offices as one of the all time great drafts.
Lol! Others are fragile if they have another opinion than yourself? Classic. The narrative that Finnish prospects have been mishandled by the Jets is hilarious. Propagated by some obviously fragile Finnish journalists for clicks and some fragile Finnish fans.
Ironically it's only been once the Jets got Lambert out of Finland and then to the CHL and the AHL that he's "developed".
Really reminds you of when Laine did his "developing" in Finland after being drafted by the Jets. Strength, conditioning, no skating, and has spent the past 4 seasons injured. The narrative that Finnish prospects have been mishandled by the Jets is hilarious. Maybe you should explain how the Jets have mishandled Finnish prospects then? Instead of baseless claims?Lol! Others are fragile if they have another opinion than yourself? Classic.
Yeah, go on and don't mention Heinola at all. Suits someones narrative. Laughable really, you mention one out of what? Plenty of Finnish players and you believe you are making a valid point?
Vesalainen was always a questionable prospect for me but it's still a lot easier to state the opposite than what you are trying to make it sound like.
Also, the Jets fans seem to be one of the most bitter here at HFboards. Feels like a majority bash or criticize Laine. Therefor I hope he will tear it up for the Canadiens and especially when facing the Jets.
How about guy taken 4th same year as Laine, Jets fault? another one was taken fifth same year.. where is he? I dont know but be damn it was Jets fault because he did not score 40 goals from the blue line. All the finish defensmen from 2017 draft? Jets fault again I guess cuz we didnt draft them and ruin them. Heinola has had some bad luck with injuries, and with the bad states of Jets blue line, we need him more than ever.Lol! And a lot of finns make it as well. Lame answer bud.Are you Finnish?
It's seems like only Finns complain about how the Jets handle their countrymen
The reality is that plenty of Finns bust on other teams too. Kotkaniemi, Kakko, Poolparty, Juolevi... I'm sure I'm forgetting someone
