FWIW, Kamenev didn't hit the official's hand. He hit the board in the official's hand that caused the wound.

Should be discliplined either way. If I hit you in the stomach, I shouldnt be punished if Im actually just punching your shirt?

You really do not know that. You cannot see if Kamenev hit only the clipboard or the hand holding it as well. Apparently the official's hand is swollen, so atleast something caused an impact to it, was it direct or indirect. Extremely immature nevertheless.

I mean the 2mins from tripping, which probably made him to go to the refs and get the 1st misconduct on the first place
I don't know if this true but Bragin have said: "Kamenev just have wanted to ask about the penalty refs did not call against Finns and ref have given him a penalty only because he asked."

Rage was after that.

What Kamenev did was wrong especially since he is a captain, but understandable considering the biased refereeing in Finland's favor.

Reffing looked fine to me as a 3rd party observer (Canadian). Russians were getting absolutely dominated by the Finns as the game went on, couldn't stay in front of them and were taking very, very clear penalties. Finns were playing clean and not taking penalties. Refs were calling the game properly IMO.

What an brainless idiot.
That stick hit for game officials hand was really stupid.

If that guy can't control his temper he should stop playing hockey.
What he does next will he hurt his teammates or even worse a referee.

This Russian ******* needs psychologist help.
Hopefully he gets very long international suspension.

He's just a teenager. Calm down. He made a mistake and he'll be sorry for it. You telling me you guys never made a mistake or lost your temper?

He's gonna be a good player so there's no need for the overreaction.

I'll take Kamenev going Captain Rage after being given a misconduct for nothing over swallowing it with a sad face or something. He's had a great tournament and was a good teammate. Guys who insult him make themselves look like clowns.

He's a kid. Ease up. Your national bias is showing.

How has he looked this season, is he far from full time NHL action?

Hasn't really seen first line minutes as far as I'm aware yet leads the Admirals in scoring with 34 pts in 47 games and his defensive game is coming along nicely from what I've heard.

Already had a taste of the NHL so we'll probably see him in the NHL as soon as next season.

Don't think he will be much of a player but the rest of the haul makes up for it.

Why not? Could play immediately in the bottom-6. Upside isn't as high as people may want, but he's got the potential to be a full-time NHLer.

Kamenev - Kerfoot - Greer could be a really nice 3rd line moving forward.
