Thought i read Boldy Zegras and Knight were going to BU off the USA u18 roster(couple others I think)

Byram, dach, turcotte, all easily have just as high a ceiling as anyone else in the draft though. Hell you could argue for cozens or zegras too. All of these guys, pod included, were discussed as 3rd overalls at some point but guys fell bc they had holes that became more and more obvious. Now you can have holes and a high ceiling but it's certainly not easy to say who easily has the third highest when picking through all these guys with fairly big holes in their game

I think kuzy is a good choice as potential, stylistically. Zegras/Steel is a pretty good 1-2 combo going forward.

Hell bring out the best in players like terry/comtois/sprong/rakell/kase/jones etc look better with his play making ability

I can see Zegras and Terry really clicking, get them with one of our big body LWs like Ritchie or Comtois and we could have a perfect match.

Eh I disagree both z and terry are more playmakers. Ide like to see

Comtois-Z-sprong/silf or something along that train of thought. Basically surround Z with shooters
 
Zegras is still very slim, I hope he will put some good muscle on this upcoming year.

I heard he can be a bit nasty/mean. Is that true?

I wouldn't really say he's very slim. He's around the weight he should be for his height and age. He's never going to be over 200lbs and you shouldn't want him to be that big.

And yes he doesn't not back away from starting stuff after the whistle or playing with a bit of an edge. He led the national team in PIMS.

Zegras and Turcotte are locks to be the two top six centers. There aren’t any other options for those spots. The question is which wingers will play on which line. With these rosters, it looks like Boldy-Zegras-Wahlstrom as one line and Farabee-Turcotte-Caufield as another. That could obviously change, but those look like the initial lines.

Awesome, I think seeing him at the bottom RW made me think otherwise but I realized that it's in alphabetical order.

Yeah the comparisons and all that are honestly embarassing.....and that’s not even because I hate the whole Messi and Caufield thing, totally understand what they meant in that. But some were just outlandish and flat out wrong

I mean with what they were saying about Zegras, im nearly positive Pierre meant to compare him to Elias instead of Palms. Must've just been a huge brain fart. I think Elias is a great comp for Zegras.

Yeah I could see that. I see a lot of Crosby purely in terms of his passing ability and creativity. The rest of his game is nothing like Sid, but with the puck his ability to find teammates, anticipate where they’re going without looking and manipulate defenders is extremely high end
