Rumors are Giants are in on Rodgers to - I thought they had signed Wilson - guess someone posted a fake tweet yesterday.

Imagine if they lose out on AR - the Steelers doing comedy this off-season wasn’t on my bingo card.

Wait - Minshew is still available right?

The hero the people didn’t want when they didn’t need him!

If we want both entertainment and to suck, this is the guy we should be rooting for.

Well, his views away from football are still a valid reason to not like him, but he's going to be 42 years old, hasn't had a good season in 3 years, throws his teammates under the bus in the media, meddles in the front office, general sense of arrogance.

What is there to like about him?

Don't worry. We have Mike Tomlin as the coach of young men. He'll be able to manage Rodgers effectively.

That is seriously funny as hell. Well played, Bruce

Arians was the best OC this team has had lately, but Steelers fans absolutely despised him and wanted him gone. And old ARII was the guy that pushed him out.

Wow, shocker. No urgency Mike?

Wonder why that is?

Oh, that's right. You're protected by the Rooney's and their bullshit DEI initiative years ago. There is absolutely zero accountability, so patience isn't a virtue you need be concerned with.

No other sports franchise would have put up with the mess he's created, for this long. Not in football, or any other.

This franchise has fallen so far under Tomlin. They spend huge on DK to what purpose??? It's like buying 40k rims on a 5k car.

They spend crazy money on dk then turn around and lowball Fields. They have no plan, they aren't trying to win anything. They simply want to keep Tomlin's grift for as long as possible. Khan is a moron as well.

Had to placate the ancient yinzers that think fullback is the most important position on offense.

Fields wouldn’t know what to do with DK

Eh there was a portion of the fanbase that didn't like Arians air it out style. Most were concerned about Ben's health.
But the most important person who didn't like it: Eddie Munster Rooney himself.

"We got to pawd da rock" and "get back to our roots".

And that's why he was forced to "retire" (that always makes me giggle).

Let’s be serious, you would have applauded Mr. Clean if they had re-signed Fields.
I have said repeatedly it didn’t matter who they signed because are franchise qb is still in college. There were a handful of bridge qbs sign the cheapest option available.
Khan has been hunting wr 2 for a year and he offered a 2nd for Aiyuk got rejected so he go DK. This season is about setting up the foundation for the 26 trade up. Let the o line get another year to grow and develop. You have another year to see if GP grows up and earns his contract extension. I kinda like the way Khan and Tomlin are getting everything in place

Yep - they totally planned to be one AR choice away from dumpster diving for QBs.

The “Tomlin Discount” 2 D checkers method.

No the #1 ranked defense was getting Ben to Super Bowls.

They finished 9th, 20th, 12th, 12th and 21st in points in Arian's 5 seasons as OC for the Steelers.
Meh, they performed in the playoffs, though. They didn't put up less than 23 points in the playoffs with Arians as the OC. They've only done that 3 times since. The Browns debacle when they were down 28-0 after the first quarter, the Jaguars debacle when they were down 21-0, and against the Dolphins in 2016.
