He does have a great wrist shot, but let's see him get at least five full seasons under his belt with that kind of shooting percentage before we start talking about him in a historical context.

Just out of curiosity, I looked up the top shooting percentage leaders of all time and as you can see from this list, they require a minimum of 200 career goals.
They really should add one more requirement - that you scored 200 goals against goalies who could use the butterfly.

Yeah, adjusting for eras is a tough one. Every goalie post-Patrick Roy used the butterfly, but before him, they used pads that only exceeded the width of their legs by a couple inches and they didn't have the Michelin man padding on the upper body ...

... but then the sticks were all waterlogged wood ...

It's a tough call.

Seems like the type of guy who is traded and becomes a nice 60 point 2C in the form of Vinny Trocheck and goes from overrated to underrated.
I think he can do better than that. It all depends on how bad he wants it - he needs to push himself which has never been his strong suit.

He’s got the 6th? Now most production from the draft class and was drafted at 4th. I don’t know where this buy low stock is coming from from.
Posts across multiple threads where Wright is a "throw-in" in trades and folks have put him in the same category of first round players from the same draft who have already been traded out for a "change in scenery".

Though I do think you missed my point. My point was more general, not specific to Wright or the Kraken and also that fans of teams do this all the time. They will target young players of other teams who are struggling, undervalue them and be willing to give up little to nothing for them.

I have not even looked at where Wright ranks in productivity for his draft year. I genuinely don't care. All I care about is how he is doing for us. Give me another few years and maybe I will take a look and see where he stands among his peers.
