I don't really get the hate on the move or the complaining. He is 19. The team has done an excellent job developing young players and giving opportuntiies to young player when they think they are ready.

They don't think he is ready for the NHL, like most teenagers. Seems like a fine decision be the team

I don’t really mind it. But I think it takes longer than 3:55 of ice time to decide if a player can hack it or not.

Well thankfully they had all offseason with him and six professional games in the AHL. It is a bit silly to think they made the decision based on 4 minutes of icetime, no?

I have no issue in sending them before burning ELC year. I would like to save Savoie have a little more than 4 min of experience in nhl experience because it givean idea hem
I think if they had not had so many injuries and were doing better in the standings he might have gotten a few more games. BUT...... we are 12th in the conferance fighting to stay out of a hole we cant get out of, so whatever the best 23 players to help us win, are the ones that need to be on the team. To bring Sammy off IR a roster space had to be made.

Someone of Krebs, Johnson, Rousek, Power, JJP, or Savoie had to go back. Became an easy call.

Savoie feeds Isogai and he's got his first point on a powerplay assist in the 2nd period.

And he promptly drives the middle after the faceoff, drawing another Tri-City penalty.

And now some battle at the end of the 2nd period as Dragicevic sorta hit him high on the shoulder from behind and he turns around angry.

The highlights -

He made Isogai's goal happen with the disruption in front of the Chiefs' net but didn't get a point out of it as well.

I don't see the team doing an excellent job developing young players.

Dahlin hasn't reached his potential and in fact is regressing.
Asplund was run out of town
Bjork was thrown in the trash
Bryson can't crack the lineup
Pekar is not even gonna make the NHL
Laaksonen a bust predicted to be an NHL top 4
Davidsson didn't even see the NHL

I think the players developed in spite of management. You know 1st rounders are suppose to develop. Develop players from rounds 3-7 and then we will talk.

I don't see even one player draft in the later rounds reaching passed their potential. Go take a look at the draft from 2016-2020 an show me players developing.

What a lousy synopsis. What percentage of non 1st round picks make the NHL? Then all of these were drafted under different regimes. So by what measure is Dahlin regressing? The best d since Potvin was draft hyperbole..
Asplund made the NHL and his offense didn't translate, nor did his work ethic continue
Bjork was a throw in so the Sabres never developed him
Bryson is a tweener as you'd expect from his size and draft pedigree. He developed about as well as possible
Pekan blew out both shoulders so it's hard to be a pest if you can't check
Laaksonen was never projected to be a top 4. You're happy to get a tweener out of someone with his draft pedigree. Then his defense made Housley look like the 2nd coming of Rod Langway
Davidsson got severely concussed and was never the same

I don’t think you could have proved your point worst with that list of 7. I am not going to even go through it, as it speaks for itself.

You can have that opinion, and that’s totally fine.

Yes, I proved my point worse.

Me - Show me a player that developed past their potential that wasn't a first round pick

You - You dont kniow man! I am not even gonna bother to rebut because its a waste of time

Every person who doesn't know what they are talking about comes back with this.

Oh and I left out Eichel who never reached his potential here and then was run out of town to win a stanley cup elsewhere.

You are pumping up a team that missed the playoffs 15 years in a row as great at developing talent.
