I don't think Berggren is a top 15 talent. Should go around 20-30 but will likely be available in the early 2nd round.

Berggren just "pops" in the videos...lovely to watch. Assume there will some concerns about transition and strength to the NHL eventually but definitely thought he'd be gone in the first as a late riser. Well worth the risk at this point, I was ready to be sold on him as a mid-1st rounder. Could totally see the Sabres picking him to start day 2 and he'd give them a high upside winger along with Dahlin in what would undoubtedly be a hugely successful start to the draft. Makes a ton of sense for them with the center spot loaded and Dahlin and Risto on the blueline.

He looks like a pure winger but I've seen him play center and he's much more effective at that position than you would expect. I still see him as a winger in the SHL/NHL though.

This is the type of player Detroit is famous for picking. I like the pick. Berggren is skilled and ellusive. Sounding like a broken record with Detroit's first 4 picks. I give this pick a 'A' rating. Could be as good as some players picked in the first rd.

Thats bold but its not unreasonable. I can see him being one of the best line drivers of the draft, tilting the rink towards the opposing team’s net and making space for his linemates. Was really sad that the leafs passed on him twice. Happy with the leafs picking Sandin but rooting for Berggren anytime he’s not facing the leafs!
