There are equally talented players ahead of him. Aho's draft also had McDavid, Eichel, Marner, Hanifin, Provorov, Werenski, Rantanen, Barzal, Konecny and Connor.
This draft also has a lot of great players. That's why it's so fluid after #1 and #2.
 
I'd **** my pants if I was a team in the high 20s, which is where I think he'll be available

I'm hoping for one of those 2 at 25. I feel like he was a quintessential Sens pick when Murray was at the helm, don't have a feeling for which way Dorion would go...

Dorion was our chief of scouting from 2007-2014 and as heavily involved in scouting near the end of the season. I don't think our drafting philosophy has changed so much - if anything Dorion is a bigger proponent of skill players than Murray was. He pushed hard for Karlsson in spite of his string-bean stature.

After Svechnikov, Tkachuk, Zadina, Wahlstrom, Berggren is the next forward on my list.

I think he'll be a solid 1st line winger in the NHL.

I don't think Berggren is a top 15 talent. Should go around 20-30 but will likely be available in the early 2nd round.
 
I would love the Rangers to pick up this kid with one of their late 1sts.

Completely tore up the Allsvenskan last season.
 
Berggren has many qualities but he is also easily pushed off the puck and loses most 1-on-1 battles. I think he'll fall to the 2nd half of round 2 because of that.

If that is indeed the case and the Montreal Canadiens manage to nab both him and one of Zadina/Kotkaniemi/Dobson, I'll be a really happy man come saturday afternoon.
