There is zero chance we see an all kid line right now. The team is rolling and you can't mess too much with it. Once AA and Grundy are back some kids will go down to the farm. I do expect QB to be called up when the next wave of COVID or injuries hits. Of course this all depends if we make trades to open up spots.

I hope he has got some silky pajamas to go with those silky mitts of his.

The one Kings line that's identity-less right now is the third line since it's just leftovers, lol.

We might see a Turcotte-Byfield with Vilardi-Fagemo-Brown at RW 3rd line with the Kings soon.

That is some 10:15pm beer league defense right there (literally embarrassing what the hell are they doing) ..... Nice patience and finish though.

Yes, we know.

First it was 'he only scores on the rush.'

Then it was 'lol Switzerland.'

Now it's 'bad defense.'

All his goals are 'not goal enough.' It is what it is until he gets to the NHL for permanent I suppose.

Have you seen someone so wide open in front of the net like that on a cycle play? You cannot admit that? That would never happen in the NHL and I am talking about that goal specifically. Stating a fact is now hating lol don't be so sensitive anyone being honest and with a brain can admit that defense was embarrassing.

Good on Q for taking advantage of blown coverage.... Seriously blown.

Let's watch it again together

He was wide open because his line put the defense in a blender on the cycle. You understand that. Plus he's shown he can do that with one or two dudes draped on him anyway.

It's absolutely stupid that he's wide open but auditing his points is the crap you do in every Kings prospect thread. It's just tiring because you always have to pay a backhanded compliment/avoid credit somehow.

Man you're sensitive. It's okay man just admit it was horrible defense and a good finish to make them pay for it.

QB is deadly from in and around the net where more than half of goals are scored.
His skating allows him to create off the rush as well.
He also has an above average release from the slot.
Add that to incredible hands, quickness, size and awareness.

It's really up to Q if he can handle the pressure of a top pick and willing to put in the work. So far all indications show he is progressing in the right direction. Patience is the key with him, he is still so raw.

I didn't say you're wrong, I just said your only contributions to Kings prospect threads are transparent, you only show up to minimize their production/highlights/feedback. It's wack, and it's unfortunate because I know you know the game better than that.

And if you watch the full clip like I said the Reign had just spent 30 seconds putting the D in a blender, QB had the good sense to sink into the space JUST vacated by the dman who was trying to break out and get a bang bang pass, it happens faster than you give credit for, it's not like he's just standing there for 10 seconds beavertailing.

I'm excited for Byfield. I feel like people are writing him off way too early.

He's like that on the Ducks board too. He nonstop over-hypes our prospects. He's the only poster I cannot stand, yet we like the same team

Don't like the linemates and matchup (Avs) but I'll take it. He was due for a call up. Let's hope he sticks so we can move bodies out to fill holes on the roster. I want one forward, just one, to have the same impact as Durzi.

He's a pretty good skater for a guy so big. He has really long strides and makes up distance really fast. His agility and turning are pretty good too. To me, he has the skating tools for success at the big level.

He's faster than AK but it's that Kopitar thing, since the strides are so long it doesn't look like he's hauling ass, but next thing you know he takes three steps and even a great skater like Sam Girard is spinning like a top.

Agreed, his skating is similar to Barkov IMO. Smooth, powerful, long strides, good edges - just very technically sound all around. Doesn’t have that MacKinnon/Eichel type nuts acceleration, but he’s a very good skater, especially so for his size.

Similar to Barkov, some casual fans think his skating is average, because their feet don’t move fast, but NHL scouts see/saw both as strong skaters.

I thought he looked pretty solid and belonged. That one shift where he stripped the puck off the Avs player in the offensive zone and turned it around quickly was pretty impressive.
