C Oliver Moore - University of Minnesota , NCAA (2023, 19th, CHI)

Don't think he's fully ready for the NHL, wouldn't be surprised to see him in Rockford for the first half of next season at least. A lot of Gophers fans were disappointed by his progress or lack thereof.

He’ll absolutely be in Rockford to start next year. My guess is a few games with Chicago here to end the season before being sent to the AHL for the playoffs.

I think Moore is much better than his sophomore season. I don’t think he’ll be a ppg guy or anything, but I could still see a 50-60 point two way forward.

I like him and think he can be a useful NHLer, but 50-60 pts seems like wishful thinking to me. I don'r really see the high end offensive tools in the NCAA and doubt this develops in the AHL/NHL.

I think the more likely scenario would be for him to end up a swiss army knife player, similar to Jake Evans.

But hey, I might be wrong...

I’m saying that’s his ceiling, not necessarily that I would bet on it.

I think it’ll really depend where he plays. 3C? You’re probably right he won’t touch 50.

But if he’s playing on Bedards wing in his prime, it’s definitely possible.

I really like Moore, very useful player. His speed alone is going to create rush chances.

Mighty impressive in his NHL action IMO

His speed really stands out and he has shown pretty good offensive instincts that makes one see why he is such an intriguing prospect if he hits his upside/potential projection

First NHL points last night as he picked up 2 assists

Caps fan here, kid looked good. Might be one of those guys who translates better to the pro game with his skating.

Said it before…he disrupts the flow of the game for the opposition by pressuring the puck a half second faster than is typical, in a game where that makes all the difference in the world. Forecheck and backcheck. I was impressed watching his offensive reads at the game. He was processing the play well, going to the place where the play was going to be (even if it wasn’t obvious)rather than where it was immediately happening. He was quietly impactful.

He might never be a huge scorer, but he can still a very important player on both sides of the puck.

Great skater, and athletic, but he never seemed to put it together in college consistently.
