The difference is that Yak has looked terrible doing it. Hasn't used his teammates well, keeps trying to beat 4 defenders by himself only to end up losing the puck or getting off a weak shot, etc., while Grigorenko has actually been creating chances for his linemates and could have several more points if they were having better puck luck. Yakupov might be tied with Grigs and Kucherov in points, but he's not even close to playing as well as them right now (maybe too much pressure for him between his "superstar" billing, captaincy, and home ice?). Grigorenko put that team on his back today against the Swiss. Hate all you want, I guess, but he's having a very good tournament.
