Two full seasons in North America post-draft and only the players picked ahead of him have made a real impact at the NHL level. Even Mittelstadt has been up-and-down throughout his entire season.
Way too early to write these kids off. It's the same BS you heard with Wahlstrom. Just because a few top-5 picks in the NHL are immediately able to hold their own at 18 or 19, doesn't mean those in the minors from the same draft class have stalled or are failures.
Andersson has shown flashes, albeit in very small shift-by-shift sample sizes. Took Henrik Zetterberg three years to make his NHL debut post-draft because he stayed in Sweden. Nobody would be complaining about Andersson if he was 15-15-30 for Frolunda as a draft+2
