shocked To see there was no thread for him. ranked #16 by central Scouting. he's putting Up pretty good numbers in College. what do people think of him?

An honest, clean player with very good speed and strength, Kunin is natural goal scorer, blessed with a laser of a shot and excellent instincts. He was unstoppable at last year’s U18 World Championships, scoring six goals in seven games without the benefit of playing on the top line. He’s been just as prolific as a freshman for the rebuilding Badgers, who entrusted him with top line duties. He’s taken advantage of the NCAA schedule by hitting the weights, and you can tell by the way he’s been plastering collegiate opponents. Kunin is an excellent skater who is always looking for his shot – a process which doesn’t take a lot of time to bear results.

Kunin is an outstanding prospect. Thick, strong, a great shot, can play a heavy game. He's also a big game player. The Badgers are having a rough year, but Kunin has been a huge bright spot. Boeser dissing them has helped him out, as he's bounced between center and wing but always on the top line.

He was Team USA's best forward at the U18's after Auston Matthews.

very impressed with his play this year in that dung hole of a program right now.

Kunin is a very solid riser and like others are saying the 15-20 range seems very realistic for him. Just a natural player that does a lot of little things right, very happy for him and his progression.

assuming the wild pick between 16 - 20 i hope we pick kunin. looks fast , accurate shot , reminds me of zucker.

Kunin is a pretty average skater. He is an accurate shooter, but doesn't have a heavy shot. Really good hockey sense though and is constantly finding the soft spots in The defense. He adjusts his positioning really well to get in a better spot to receive a pass and shoot quickly.

You watching this game tonight?

Some really interesting NCAA guys in the mid to late part of the draft. Hoping the jets can pick up one with the Chicago first. Kunin looks really really good from a distance.

Good skater. Does everything you want him to do and never cheats anywhere on the ice. And for that he is rewarded with opportunities. He plays the game the right way. Will be an NHLer for a long time. He will be able to check and play two-ways. Offensive contribution TBD... not sure I'd slot him as a top-six, his points will have to come through hard work exclusively. His play on the ice shows he has the makeup to be a letter in the league, don't know about off-ice.. Guys with his work ethic do not come around all that often.

11 seems too high for kunin , id guess keller , jost , bellows , mcleod maybe brown will go 10-15. (maybe a D man also) i could see the wild picking kunin at 15 but i dont think he'll go higher.

I disagree with you saying his points will come from hard work exclusively. The release on his shot is really fast and he can pump the top corners all day, even on the backhand. He has good stick handling ability as well and can definitely distribute the puck.

High hockey sense, quick hands, quick feet, great vision. His decisions with the puck are quick as much as his release. These kinds of assets are really important to have success in today's nhl.

Kunin is rising pretty high on my list, if he is not there with Jost, Brown, Keller, Mcleod, he is surely not far.
The team that will pick him will get a high quality top6 forward.

Surprised there is so little here on this guy. I'd love to hear more about his season from anyone that watched him play in Wisconsin.

Obviously don't know how the draft will go, but I really like the idea of possibly getting him at 22 if he's there.

would be a nice pickup at 22.

A standout at the combine. A skilled and pesky Centre. I have him in my top 16.

I think he'll go higher than most expect.
