I am now VERY curious as to the results of the next McKenzie poll. If NHL scouts agree with the CSB scouts on this Wright/Cooley issue, we’ve got an interesting draft here.
Sounds like Cooley has had the momentum for a while now. I do believe a big part of his appeal is the success he has had against older competition where his game clearly rises to another level.

Looking like we could have two-man race, which will be fun. McKenzie poll will be interesting.

top 5 at best. might be the best available center not named Shane Wright this draft. Should stay in ND for a few more seasons to tune himself

Great consolation price at 2, for sure. If Habs don't pick #1, Logan Cooley is a no-brainer.

Wright - Suzuki that would be perfect, but Cooley - Suzuki... it's pretty good too. We are going to be set for long time at C with Wright or Cooley. (Even Savoie).

Logan Cooley has changed his NCAA commitment to the University of Minnesota - Daily Faceoff
Logan Cooley, a top prospect for the 2022 NHL draft, has changed his NCAA commitment.

Cooley was originally committed to go to Notre Dame in the fall of 2022 but he’s now committed to the University of Minnesota. Daily Faceoff contributor Chris Peters noted that Cooley had changed his Instagram bio to say ‘University of Minnesota commit.’
Cooley’s Instagram story also featured a screenshot of the University of Minnesota’s logo, the golden gopher…

“I’m starting to view the Cooley-Wright debate similar to the Jack Hughes-Kaapo Kakko debate, only this time they’re both centers,” Peters said. “When push came to shove, who was the more explosive, dynamic player? It was Hughes then and it feels like it’s Cooley now. The reason he has challenged and now surpassed Wright on my board after much debate is that he’s simply the more dynamic player and has enough qualities that leave me more confident at this point in time that he projects more favorably as a top-of-the-lineup star.”

We're hoping our top line next year is:
Knies - Cooley - Lucius
or
Knies - Cooley - Snuggerud

Sick news, I really like Cooley, from what I have seen, his IQ is fantastic and looks every bit the part of a future winner.

The Gophers would make that trade every day if the week. Notre Dame has a horrible track record in keeping their top commits.
Yup, though the point still stands that ND is not an innocent victim that doesn't indulge in the same sort of behavior that MN is being accused of(by some).

Boltmann does seem to be doing well this year, though.
