And a montage by SpokedZ made from some of his best shifts of the game:
Potentially. Will be a tough battle with Yager, Fantilli and Michkov for 2ndHonestly, I truly believe there's a path for him to #2 if russia's geopolitical situation remains unchanged.
I have a feeling his production won’t really slow down that much. Seems like he’s on the 1st power play and he’s great at setting guys up. He has the size and poise to compete against men physically as well.Another assist today.
When was the last time a 17 year old produced like this in the SHL?
There's really only been three DY players who have produced like this: the Sedin's, & Forsberg... And there's a very real chance right now I'd say that he breaks Daniel's DY record.Another assist today.

Elias Lindholm? Lower ppg but 30 points is the most I remember in recent memory.Another assist today.

He would challenge for 2nd, atleast, no matter Russia's geopolitical situationHonestly, I truly believe there's a path for him to #2 if russia's geopolitical situation remains unchanged.
I believe Daniel Sedin has the highest scoring draft-year SHL season of all time, with 42 points in 50 games (he was 3 months older than Carlsson this year). Super early to know how Carlsson will finish, but … he’ll likely have one of the better draft-year SHL seasons ever, if he stays healthy; 7 points through 8 games is a GREAT start.Another assist today.

Not sure you are missing on anything if you end up qith Carlsson. Maybe better than Michkov going forward. If the Habs miss on both Bedard and Michkov I want him on my team. He looks a lot like Malkin, really impressive
He's in the SHL so obviously wing. But he's a center.Does he play wing or center position now?
How was his defensive game and faceoffs before this season? He seems to be more structured player than dynamic. Like Barkov. Do you agree? He's in the SHL so obviously wing. But he's a center.

He has been average at faceoffs, not sure how that will translate tbh.How was his defensive game and faceoffs before this season? He seems to be more structured player than dynamic. Like Barkov. Do you agree?

Good year to tank. Best top 4 ever? Bedard, michkov, Carlsson and Fantilli? If the Habs miss on both Bedard and Michkov I want him on my team. He looks a lot like Malkin, really impressive
