He's got his three goals solely due to 4 minutes of PP1 per game, the rookie leader Mikheyev isn't even getting any power-play time.
And there is no way Mikheyev finish with more points than Hughes like what is your point?

Yep. That must be 100% accurate truth that he is worst player in NHL right now.

I dont get why you need to downplay Kakko in Hughes thread to boost Hughes up? Hughes has been good and better from those two.
Chill, you don't realize some posters were being mean to Hughes 3 years ago so this is just payback

Kakko is going to be a star in this league. He's sporting a 1.75 on ice shooting percentage at 5v5 and 924 PDO, which explains his lack of production and abysmal +/-

Hughes was dealing with similarly bad puck luck, and has since begun to regress back to the mean (though his PDO is still only 948).

Neither of these guys were expected to come in and be great 2 way players. They were expected to create offense. Hughes is now doing that after a slow start, and Kakko is due to being doing the same shortly.

Not all things are equal. The Rangers are getting destroyed with Kakko on the ice 5v5. He looks sluggish, hangs onto the puck too long, and his shot doesn't look great. Of course his on ice shooting percentage should increase, leading to more points. But he looks pretty bad atm

He's a young kid dealing with confidence issues, once he starts getting some bounces he'll loosen up and start playing better. He has a tremendous shot, so if that's not looking great, you know something is going on.

Not that I’m condoning putting Kakko down but you really seem to turn a blind eye to people putting Hughes down.
I couldn't care less, I don't 'condone' it the way you guys actually do with your comments, but it is going to come with the territory of being a hyped up hockey prospect. Meanwhile you guys are obsessed with making things even and putting down a Finnish kid on a terrible team when your guy and team really aren't doing that great either in context. But I'm just biased right?

Yeah actually it seems like you’re pretty biased when you keep saying “you guys” like it’s all of us when in reality it’s only one or two people putting Kakko down. But then you apparently don’t see it when people are doing it to Hughes. I’d say that about as biased as it gets.

I wonder why he’s getting PP1 time? Might it have something to do with him being the most dynamic player on the team with the only other one in the conversation being Taylor Hall?

He didn’t even start the year on PP1, he replaced Zajac after they went like 0-20 and now they have PP goals in like 5 straight games or something. Largely because of Jack.

6 straight games, the 6 games Hughes has been on PP1.

Who is obsessed?
