Maybe the first period was the barnburner. I saw the second and third periods and it was sloppy and slow. Lots of missed passes and chip ins. Very little sustained offense in terms of shots or dangerous scoring chances.
It was two well matched teams that I believe are both tournament teams. Obviously the Gophers knew they'd have to lock it down after the drubbing the night before, and an early goal made them focus on D even more. The last two minutes were crazy, and Wilcox made an insane save to save the game. I don't remember Zach Hyman doing anything this weekend.

The game on Saturday was literally one of the most boring games I've ever seen. Minnesota plays a conservative game on a huuuuge ice surface, so 10s of minutes went by without a decent scoring chance for either side. I'm not sure those games say much about Michigan.

"Minnesota" and "conservative game" do not belong in the same sentence together.

It sure looked like it, but that might have had something to do with the sloppy quality of play from Michigan. Minnesota got off to a 1-0 lead and was pretty quiet from then on. Michigan looked uncomfortable with the ice surface, and tons of breakout passes were comically off the mark.

4 points so far tonight. Below image is missing one assist for Larkin

I'd say #4 or #5

Not sure he would go top 5, but he would be in the top 10. He might go above Dal Colle, but i'm not sure. 6-10th is more reasonable and depends on whether you value the 2-way intangibles center or the highly skilled offensive wingers. I'd put him over the skilled wingers in Ehlers and Nylander at 6th as I prefer the 2-way center. But it really is just preference.

Top 10 for sure in a redraft right now...possibly top 5...he's been that impressive imo.

I haven't been this excited about a Wings prospect since Nyquist. Can't wait to see how this guy progresses over the next few seasons.

Why are we doing a redraft less than a year in? Wait until we see some NHL time before we start declaring what these guys can be

Because its the prospect board.... Talking about prospects, their upside, and comparing them to other prospects is kinda what its all about. If we have to wait until everyone is in the NHL, we may as well shut the prospect board down.

Why not? Prospect's values can change significantly nearing the end of a full season after their draft year

Someone posted somewhere that he is having one of the greatest under 19 college seasons of the past 15 years (by Ppg)

I wasn't a fan when we drafted him, glad to be proven wrong though.

The scouting reports made it sound like his offensive upside was more limited. I guess playing behind an Eichel-Tuch-Milano line probably cost him some production.
