I can't see him falling past 6, especially now that we know teams see him as a center. He's almost a lock to go within a pick or two after Cooley.

Don’t think he makes it past Columbus at 6 either. Could even see Philly taking him at 5, although it is likely one of Jiricek or Nemec will still be there. I could see Gauthier as a great fit for either of those organizations and I think he does the things well that those clubs have traditionally valued. Big, strong and smooth with good hands and two-way upside.

Better skater, projects as a center, bigger frame to fill out...and then crushing the combine tests (top 10 in 5 categories - with his #1 finish in the Wingate being particularly impressive) - I'd say he's a notch above as a prospect.

In my opinion, Cutter has a top 5 shot in this class that's up there with Wright, Lekkerimaki, Kemell and Miroshnichenko.

McGroarty is top 10 for sure but not quite as good as Gauthier's.

McTavish more heavy game, better in front of net. Gauthier better skater. Both deadly shots. McTavish is like Pavelski, Gauthier is more like Scheifele type IMO.
