So much for Nurse shutting him down. Wonder if the Oilers will try to swing a deal for another top 10 pick so they can get a Provorov or Werenski. Nurse ain't going to be the top d-man they need.

Lol. Nurse was the best player in the series other than McDavid. Baptiste too maybe.

The team around him was Ass.

Troll is obvious

If you watched the games you'd realize Nurse did a great job.

How do the generals and North bay compare to greyhounds?

Oshawa is up 3-2 in the series

Well SSM had lots of very very good talent, plenty of first round picks.

Darnell Nurse
Anthony DeAngelo
Jared McCann
Sergei Tolchinsky
Nick Ritchie
Justin Bailey
Michael Bunting

Oshawa has Michael Dal Colle, Mike McCarron and Cole Cassels.

At this point it's not crazy to say that McDavid is the best prospect since Mario. He dominated one of the best and stingiest teams in the CHL. His skating is already at an elite level even by NHL standards. And everything he does seems so effortless.

If he stays healthy I think he is going to break some records at some point in his career.

I don't think he'll be ranked. The Crosby hype seemed greater to me. He might have been if he was drafted by the Leafs :sarcasm:

That's not fair or true at all. If you look at posters here and media like the hockey news, being drafted by the Leafs does nothing but drop your stock.

McDavid
Hall
Eberle
Nuge
Yak
Pouliot
And Draisaitl in the wakes

Who's got a more talented top 6? Not who has a top 6 with more points or more goals. Purely offensive talent.

about 25 other teams.

Since goals and points do not count, it's just my opinion but it is much more accurate than anybody that claims the Oilers are the best.

His 42 pts in the playoffs are the most in the CHL since... Yannick Riendeau with 52 pts in the 2009 QMJHL playoffs.

Great company for McDavid.:sarcasm:

His assist on Baptiste's goal, which broke SSM's back was a thing of beauty and encapsulates everything about what makes him so good.

The only thing that will hold him back in the NHL next year is outside shooting. Everything else is filthy.

That's not what he's saying. The oilers forward group is extremely skilled, you don't get drafted first overall without having an over abundance of raw natural talent, and the oilers are soon to have 4 of them, plus multiple other high first rounders. Unfortunately so far, the oilers organization hasn't been able to find the proper way to utilize said talent on their roster. Like Gretzky said, hard working skill beats skill alone everytime. The oilers skill in potentia is absolutely top 3-5 in the NHL, and as long they get the right supporting cast and guidance, the oilers will definately be an offensive force to be feared.

Of those 19 points only 5 were with Nurse on the ice 5 on 5.

Wow thank you for getting it.

Does Nurse not kill penalties?

5 goals in 6 games at even strength is pretty bad if you're supposed to be a shut down d-man.

We get it, you don't like Nurse.

Being on the ice for 5 even strength goals against while McDavid is on the ice over a 6 game series is impressive. Considering Nurse has been averaging over 30 minutes a game and McDavid is on pace to shatter the OHL playoff scoring record, 5 goals against is nothing to complain about..

Nurse has been the 2nd best player and it's obvious.
