All I see is that 195 lbs. Is he really up to that now? My, he's getting big.So.. McDavid compared himself to Bozak today..
Cox/Friedman reporting that both Eichel and McDavid will be invited to play for their countries at the World Championships pending availability.
Well, it sounds like whoever wins the lottery is going to be made a ridiculous offer by the Buffalo Sabres.
Jack Eichel +++
Girgensons, Zadorov, 2015 1st (approx 15-20), 2015 2nd, 2015 2nd
Wow, where did you hear/see this?
As good as any offer will be, I only see one potential lottery winner capable of and wanting to make a deal of this magnitude, the New Jersey Devils. Why ?
1) Lou loves US collegiate prospects
2) Lou being Lou
3) Devils are not well stocked with young prospects
Again, this is not what I want to happen. McDavid is an amazing player but so is Eichel. I would rather have the best team than the best player.
A lot of the talk now is GM gamesmanship. Keep other GMs guessing and in the event Buffalo does win the lottery, then perhaps other GMs will inflate their trade proposals for the number 1 pick. In an interview a few weeks ago, GMTM said the difference between the 2 players is not much. This is just par for the course, straight out of the GM handbook, chapter 1.
Sportsnet is clueless, that's two straight games they are covering the Pete's vs Oshawa. Do they even realize who Connor Mcdavid is? They should literally have every Erie playoff game on TV, isn't ratings how they make their money?
Rant finished

Not like Oshawa is the best team in the CHL or anything... oh wait
According to what?
I don't know how.. but some posters are actually jealous of Edmonton.

I don't know what his real weight is, but I think it's bigger than 160-170 lbs. That's really thin at 6'1". He's gotten bigger in the last few years.These numbers are always over exaggerated. He's still really skinny prob closer to 160-170
