don't hate, him and Kaner are boys.

:sarcasm:

Let's say it this way, just because you aren't someone who is known from doing something doesn't mean that i am the same. Yes, i actually know Kane. Doesn't matter do you believe me, simply it doesn't weight anything on my cup.

LMAO.and what are you known for doing? i played with tyler myers does that count as something? , knowing somebody doesn't mean you are or aren't "someone"

plus i'd dance around you on the ice if you ever wanted to try.

Let's keep this thread about McDavid shall we?
These conversations are annoying, and they ruin an otherwise good thread for the rest of us.

Pretty crazy that the McDavid/Burakowsky line combined for 14 points last night. OHL observers, how does Eerie look on paper this year?

Do tell.

Could this kid possibly get an exceptional status and play for the Habs already this season?

At least there is one sane Habs fan who realizes they are going to finish dead last this year!

McDavid slowly starting to show why he's projected to be drafted into the NHL.

I heard he's been working on his crossovers and he's getting good at stopping on his left side. Tremendous upside.

I'm sure this is entirely premature but what's up with McDavid? Only 7 points in 6 games? I expect him to bust out any game now but its been a bit of a slump for the prodigy...he's certainly no Anthony Mantha...

There is one team in dead last and it is not Les Habitants.

Too bad it's not the right season yet. :( Watching Buffalo be this awful would be a lot more tolerable if getting McDavid out of it was a possibility. Kid is unbelievably talented.

He seems to be off to a slow start. It's surprising to see him 4th in team scoring. With Barzal coming out strong to start his WHL rookie season, I guess it won't be long before we see the inevitable comparison thread.

I'm sure McDavid is bound to have some big multi-point outings soon.

The players ahead of him are anywhere from 2 to 4 years older. I think McDavid will start to heat up soon. But I also think people saying stuff like he will lead the entire OHL in scoring or anything like that are way off.

No cause for concern. He didn't get less talented over the off-season. His once-every-ten-year natural gifts aren't going anywhere.

Stats don't seem too impressive considering he had a 3 point game. Those who have watched him how has he been playing? I'm not as impressed as before... should I be?

And how old was Tavares in his first OHL season?

I think it is too early to make any negative assessment of him. I think he will end up playing way better this year than even last year. It's just I don't think he'll lead the league in scoring or have numbers as lofty as some people have predicted.

Tavares was about 8 months younger than McDavid when he was playing.

IIRC Tavares turned 15 the September of his first season whereas McDavid turned 15 the January previous to his first season, making him about 8 months older than Tavares.
