It’s true lol, but they seem to have turned a corner since then. Including winning two games. I think the 10-1 beatings are done.

We’ll see, maybe. But either way even if improved I think they’re still CLEARLY the worst team in the league. Even worse than the Oilers.

Can’t wait to see this kid absolutely incinerating teams on the PP when other teams will have to respect Korchinski, Moore, Nazar and Celebrini/Eiserman/Catton/Demidov as other options and give him space.

Korchinski, Moore and Nazar are very good prospects who will be in the NHL (Korchinski already is) - but none of them is the type of pure sniper that would mutually benefit by playing with Bedard. I think the only Hawks prospect I've seen so far this season who has an elite goal scoring ability is Nick Lardis who has 12 goals in 17 games with Brantford in the OHL. He's the only one I would put on the same level as Eiserman except Eiserman is already 200lbs as a 17 year old whereas Lardis is a year older and only about 175lbs dripping wet. Eiserman will probably play in the NHL next season whereas Lardis probably needs another year or two after this season.

And don't forget he would have 10 goals in 13 games if Athanasiou wore size 11 skates instead of size 10's. He was 1 inch offside which got Bedard's goal taken away by a coach's challenge but the offside played no role in the goal being scored. When asked after the game you could hear Richardson's exasperation with his answer "maybe the player needs to learn how to stay onside".

???

He's 18 on a terrible team.

What does that have to do with me saying he’s slowed down in the past couple games after heating up before. He was incredible last weekend. That was exciting and I was hoping to see that continue for longer.
14 points in 15 games what a bust.
Dumb post. I just said he’s cooled down this week. Chill.
He’d have a lot more if our coach wasn’t actively sabotaging the powerplay.
Agreed.

It's gonna happen he'll face ups and downs as he finds his consistency but that's to be expected for any rookie especially on that team

It's common sense that an 18 year rookie, on a terrible team, is going to have ups and downs - especially as teams concentrate on him because he's Connor Bedard and because no one else needs on Chicago attention.

Just give him time.

You were hoping he’d keep going like GPG like he was during his hot streak? You’ve got some high expectations
