Lol his floor being something that one 18 year old has accomplished in almost 20 years and only been done 4 times in the history of the sport, ok. This site is madness, yet hilarious
82 as his floor seems too high an expectation for an 18 year old who as it stands won;t have a ton of help in Chicago to start his career but who knows with this kid? his shot, hockey i.q, drive and deceptive play making ability could possibly make it possible if he gets on a roll with his line mates, he is easy to play with.
55 seems too low for me no matter his age or circumstance he is coming into, I feel confident he cracks 30 goals this year right out of the gate, that shot and goal scoring instincts he has simply can't be taught and the kid has still underrated play making ability with many posters on this board,, he will produce straight away IMO, might take 4-10 games for him to really get going but this kid will figure out how to leverage his considerable gifts quickly, he always has.
I'd split the difference and call somewhere between 65-70 for points this year taking into account his age, the jump up in competition, and the state of the team he is on.
And that will be a great year for an 18 year old kid playing in the NHL for a bottom feeder team.
We've all seem him play here now and I think we all know this isn't a player that comes around every year, this is no Lafreniere we are taking about here, this guy WILL be an impact player in this league sooner rather then later.
