Scores the most dirty goals of any player I've ever seen, haha. Really fast and smart. Think he'll be a better NHL player than Connor. However, I don't think either has the upside of Dylan Larkin just because they have a lot of points. Larkin had that power, confidence and shooting ability that you could see was special even in college.

Have you seen Connor's shooting ability?

Yeah, Connor sure seems like a player lacking confidence.

He's everything Sens fans describe him as, if not more.

He's truly taken this Boston College team on his back and propelled them forward. Better freshman year than Johnny Gaudreau.

S*** this is nuts praise. Boston Beat writer said he's having best performance since Eichel.

I really hope you guys are right. Considering his size and established 2 way game, would be wonders if he pans out as number 1 C.

Considering Eichel was just last year, wouldn't that simply mean he's the best player on the team this year?

Top 10 is tough to crack last year. But should have gone higher than 21 regardless

Thats in a re-draft. He probably shouldn't have been top 10 at the time, but now he should be.

The only players I have ahead of him in a re-draft are McDavid, Eichel, Strome, Marner, Hanifin, Provorov, Werenski and Rantanen.

What does White's realistic upside look like? He was originally very highly touted and I remember some people calling him a top 10 pick. He fell due to illness I believe but is leading BC as a freshman. How is he compared to other US prospects like Connor, Keller, and Larkin (pre NHL). I haven't really seen any footage of him in the NCAA but he looks good in his draft year highlights.

He's probably close to Larkin and Connor right now, and he is in my opinion a safe bet for a good two-way 2C. He's pretty different from Keller as a player though and Keller probably has a much higher ceiling, and I'd probably say that about Connor as well. They're more skilled but White's overall game is very very good.

I can agree with this. I think because of the way White plays the game he will have an easier transition to pro hockey because you can slot him in the top 6 or bottom 6 and let him adjust as he goes. Kyle Connor and Clayton Keller are players that likely need top 6 minutes in the pro ranks or at least on a third line that thinks offense first. Not a knock to either of them but White is just more versatile yet still insanely skilled which makes him such an amazing prospect.

All these good American kids coming out of the draft. White has surpassed even my expectations for him. I had him at #18 last draft. The quality from the mid round picks from the 2015 draft was outstanding. There are going to be kids taken late that are as good as the kids picked in the top of the draft after Mc-Eichel. White may be one of these players.

Started watching some BC highlights just to get a better idea of his game. Here are some of his goals. Pretty good on the forecheck, good speed, and a knack for finishing.

Oh and I guess he has okay hands

has White been struggling as of late?

I just looked at NCAA scoring leaders for the first time in a few weeks and I notice he has dropped way down on the list. I was used to seeing him near the top

I think he was injured but not sure.

he has still played 31 games. Maybe he missed a few but I figured after his first half of season, he would be pushing to be one of the top scorers. Kyle Connor has only played 2 more games than White but now has 20 more points than him.
