He's showing improvement. He's playing solid imo. He setup Chytil for an empty netter but he missed.Damn
Couldnt watch a great game

Absolutely and Thank goodness!Only five votes for Miller? He was tremendous again tonight.
Keep Hunt on with Mika... effort will either rub off on him or expose him
Worse when you consider Fox cut in and was closer to Kreider, as a defenseman, than Mika was as the center. He's just floating everywhere, thinking too slowly. After watching it again. Mika sat there doing nothing when it was 3v2 on the boards. Somehow Kreider still won it but it's a bad look.
Gallant probably sees what we see. His effort is not there. His skating is not there.
Panarin watched video and corrected it. Chytil watched video and corrected it. I'm assuming Gallant showed them. I'm assuming Gallant showed Zibs too and he has yet to correct it.
The way fox read that last play and jumped into provide puck support and make that pass to zibby was genius. 99.99999% of players call it a day and take it to overtime.
I actually though Laf was good tonight. Won some board battles and set up a tap in goal for Chytil who missed wide.Damn

They did tonight already. Good try.More likely result in no scoring chances ever.
It's easy to miss in the excitement of the whole situation... but that type of hockey sense is what separates him from the pack. That hasn’t been mentioned by anyone but Fox creeping down at literally the most precise moment to the millisecond to make the play to set up the whole goddamn thing is Norris level to the point where we are taking it for granted, and we shouldn’t.
Same here have total confidence in the top 4. I know I'm probably in the minority but I feel if Nemeth can get a competent partner he isn't terrible. We just need our bottom pairing to be average but I guess that's asking a lot?!I feel so at ease when our top 4 is out there but even more Miller and Trouba I feel like. Those guys may be a better defensive pair than Fox-Lindgren this year, not accounting for quality of competition.
and by Fox.
Mika in no mans land being useless.

Thanks to Fox's brilliance. The puck never gets to Mika without Fox.Mika didn't have the primary assist?
If Mika wasn't standing there it goes to OT.
He was decent today him and that line had nice plays, woulda had an assist if Chytil knew how to scoreCompletely invisible

The good/highly skilled teams will burn us with our current 3rd pair situation.Positive trends in this teams play over the last week.
We have a third pair solution in Hartford. How long they’ll hold back on calling them up I don’t know, but it’s there.
dont waste your timeThanks to Fox's brilliance. The puck never gets to Mika without Fox.
Mika could've easily helped dig the puck out, then he and Fox would've just changed position on who got the primary assist. Could've ended the game with 5, maybe 4 seconds left on the clock or even forced another face off in the Sabre zone. Just standing there hoping his linemates dug the puck out while the time just ticked away is, well...
It would be easier to look this one play over if Mika has not been caught puck watching one more than one occasion.
