PS - Pegula needs to kick his kids off twitter or stop telling them about business decisions.

Pttth. '!!!!!!' is not a business decision. Besides her tweets make it a bit fun to guess what is going on.

Exactly. That could have meant anything, but people will read into whatever they want.

And really, does it matter? If the trust didn't punish the JBJ group for violating the NDA by getting a letter published in TBN, do you REALY think a vague tweet from a kid is going to have any effect?

That IP belongs to KPMG, a financial consulting firm. I guess it's possible that someone in there got wind of the agreement and went to Wikipedia, but still. I'll wait for something official.

Also, from TG :

I'm told tentative agreement has been reached between the Bills and the Pegulas and an official announcement should come today.

League source tells me that the deal between the #Bills and Terry and Kim Pegula is done. Now just pending league approval

@ByTimGraham

Second source on Pegulas buying the Bills: "Done deal."

While I'm sure these are probably correct, would love to here it from a national source.

Back to the upcoming game... anyone worried?

To me, this game has home loss written all over it. I'm a very positive Bills fan and think this team will be about average this year (8-8 to 9-7), but this one scares me.

The bills embarrassed the fins last year. The fins front 7 are terrifying and our O-line is far from cohesive at this point. I hope we can take advantage of their secondary and our D can dominate their O line.

Sure is set up like a nail biter! Hope the fans at the ralph are deafening.

I wouldn't say worried, but I'm not gonna sleep on the Dolphins. Not too worried about Tannehill winning the game through the air because the Bears couldn't even do that, and we should have Gilmore in too. Moreno had a big game, so they need to be cautious about him. And I wouldn't say their front 7 is terrifying. They just lost Ellerbe to IR and I'm pretty sure they signed Kelvin Sheppard. They have a good pass rush, but I don't think their run defense is superb by any means.

19-7 W. Our defense shuts them down outside of one short TD drive off a turnover. Watkins and Dixon score, Carpenter hits one outside 45, and Robey gets a sack safety.

I don't want to see him on the field. He needs to do the exact opposite of everything he's done with the hockey team.

Not true. He's learned mistakes from owning the Sabres (i.e. pressuring front office to make a big move in UFA (leino)). However, he's done alot of good too. The Habor Center, much needed HSBC renovations, basically turning the Sabres into a big market team.

Yeah. As a believer in Pegula's intentions, this is fantastic news, not only for the team, but the area.

Hi Guys;

Long time Bills fan looking to make the drive from Ottawa to Buffalo for the KC game November 9th. Usually there's a bus service that includes the tickets, tailgates and hotel - for this game I can't seem to come up with one.

Looking at buying my tickets separate and heading up with the group and booking a hotel - but question, how does the tailgating actually work? I see all the food/beer outside but not sure how the access works - do I bring my own BBQ/Beer or can I pay when I'm there and jump in on the action?

Looking forward to it - any input or suggestions for a first-timer would be appreciated.

From this day forward, the Buffalo Bills sole reason for existence will be to win the Stanley Cup.

Buffalo Sabres owner reaches agreement to buy Bills
The Buffalo Bills have found their new owner.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula has reached an agreement to buy the Bills, according to a source informed of the process. The deal should become official on Tuesday.

The Pegulas have garnered great support from public officials and business leaders for their committment to keep the Bills in Western New York. The 63-year-old billionaire found success as a natural gas and real estate mogul.

"It's historic for Buffalo," the source told Rapoport.

The league finance committee meeting is next week and Pegula could be in place by the NFL's fall meeting on October 7-8.

Wonder how this will be out with respect to team management. I can't imagine Pegula will be as hands-on as he is with the Sabres. Does he put people in place that he trusts to run the team?

He's taken some criticism, but generally, I've liked the way he's handled the Sabres thus far, and hockey in general. I hope he remains as hands-on with hockey as he has been.

I'm not enough of a football fan to have an opinion on how the team should be run from the ownership level, but I do very much hope he tries to maximize the synergy between his investments and pushes for a new stadium downtown. Good for him, good for Buffalo, good for both teams. And he'll officially own basically half the town at that point.
