Getting Doan for that prima donna Peterka was such a big win- Josh seemed interested in finding a spot for a long time in the league more than he seemed interested in chasing every last 10k. Being Shane’s kid, that makes sense. So he signs for 7 mil/yr, and that sets up this even cheaper Benson deal. Love both players, hell of an identity there. Great signing, favorite player since Briere, Charlie McAvoy is seething.

Either way they lost a top 4 defenseman, so not sure what your argument is? Byram is still an excellent defenseman, and nothing they got in the return replaces that.
