In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerHe took maybe a handful of games.or so to really get back to form after a terrible spear hit, helmet to knee, took him out. His only other significant injury was from another questionable tackle last year. He may not be 100% quite yet in game 1, but he'll have had more time to recover from this injury. The Bucs weren't getting anyone better and younger for cheaper, and there's no wr in the draft they should be wasting a 1st rd pick on either. Godwin was leading the league in receptions and tied 3rd for td's when he went down, and for the Bucs to get him for 3x22, when there were reports that some teams may have offered him 4 years at 25 million, is fantastic work by Licht and the Bucs.I'm actually not thrilled with re-signing Godwin. The guy has had several major injuries and coming back from his last one he looked very mediocre for quite awhile. What's he going to look like next season after his latest major injury? He's not getting any younger and he has had numerous surgeries now, I'm just not expecting much out of him to be honest.

I heard rumors that at least a couple teams were considering offering him a 4 year deal worth 90-100 million. Idk how real those offers may have been, but it does seem fairly realistic that he took less, both in years and aav, to stay with Tampa.I read he left 20+ million on the table to sign with the Bucs.

The pedestrian bridge was closed when I was at RayJay in January. The rayjay side had no stairs/ramp leading up to the bridge. Not sure if it was from storm damage or just being replaced.Would assume the parking is similar to Bucs games if there's no event at Ray Jay the same day. HCC should have some and the Ray Jay lots as well? Never been to a game there though, but have driven by during one and that's what it seemed was going on. Lots of people cross that pedestrian bridge between the stadiums. I wonder if there will be parking all the way out at Himes like for Bucs games, but that's quite a hike and with only 11k fans going I doubt there's a need for it.

I mean, not like the Rays had much chance to contend this year with that rotation anyway, but if McClanahan is done again, not only are the Rays but also have to start thinking about his career.![]()

Oh HELL no!!!
Somewhere the brass breathes a sigh of relief that they aren't gonna have to pay this guy shit if he needs another TJI mean, not like the Rays had much chance to contend this year with that rotation anyway, but if McClanahan is done again, not only are the Rays but also have to start thinking about his career.
Hopefully, another TJ isn't needed. But yeah, knowing this ownership cheap out ways, it wouldn't surprise if they weren't thinking that way.Somewhere the brass breathes a sigh of relief that they aren't gonna have to pay this guy shit if he needs another TJ
