Very good game. Effort from all 4 lines and awesome game by Tuuks. Well earned two points. Gotta think considering Krejci, Chara, Krug and Miller are all out, our future should look better.

Still need to work on that 60 minute effort though. Tuukka bailed us out a lot in the 3rd. Obviously that's what we pay him to do, but still need to keep up a full 60 minutes.

Great to see Fraser doing so well. I said a few weeks back I wanted him on Soda's line. He's not a great skater or playmaker, but his shot is superb. Have Soda set the play up, knock it over to Fraser and boom. Dynamite. Also think he's better on the left.

Bergeron line looked great too. Thought Smith was gonna pot it on that individual effort. Glad to see Marchy's hot too.

Great game. Love Fraser's shot. Guess they should consider keeping him on the left side.

Karlsson on for all four goals against, which does not surprise me. I was at Nashville's home opener against the Sens a few weeks ago and was flat out laughing at Karlsson's "defense." :shakehead: Reminds me of when Bergy made him look like a pylon last year in the game right before the Olympics.

Speaking of Bergy....I would totally watch a YouTube video of just him taking faceoffs. Loved him positioning people right before he won the faceoff on Marchand's goal. "I'm gonna win it right....there".....and then he did. :D

Best thing about a win.......the piss and moan club logs off.

The Fraser is where he belongs group? :)

I thought Ottawa would win this one. Bruins with 4 loses at home and the Sens with 3 road wins. I know now why I stopped playing Mise-O-Jeu.

Also back to the Spooner conversation...

Seth Griffith is just as bad defensively as Spooner, difference is that Griffith plays RW, not C, and is not a threat to one of Clode's primary binkies, Greg Campbell. Clode had Spooner on a choke chain, while Griff has had the run of the yard.

FO%'s

Bergy - 64.5
CC - 55.2
DK - 54.2
Soup - 47.9
Spooner - 46
Kelly - 44.4
Carl -43.9

Spooner not good, but Soup is barely better and Kelly and Carl both worse.

Campbell will most likely be gone after the season, if not traded by then, and Khokhlachev will most likely take his spot imo. I don't see where Spooner fits on this team at Center. If his game does not translate playing LW, it's a shame, but he'll be as good as gone soon.

You essentially get more net on your opposite side. The Sens maybe were not prepared when he showed up on the left side. With all the game tapes teams view next time he might not do as well. :(

Great effort.

I'm a Griffith fan. I like that he's been given some rope. 19+ minutes tonight. Then you see Soderberg and Bergeron at about 14 and 16. I understand a lot of that is due to shift length, but still.... where is this confidence in him coming from? Not a bad thing. Wonder if Spooner, Koko, and Pasternak will get the same looks.

Marchand had a great game by playing less on the perimeter and more of getting to the dirty areas and creating havoc. Hopefully he continues to trend this way. All of the rookies looked good today and a part from a few mishaps, the defense looked pretty good too. A little worried about Smith's game though. Hopefully he can get over whatever slump he's in. An overall great effort from the Bruins that are finally over .500:yo:

Spooner's problem I think is his equipment. This year I noticed that his pants are :wedgie: tight. How is the rest of his equipment. That reminded me of when my nephews had a growth spurt. :(

If Campbell goes, why Koko over Spooner? I get the sense that Koko could better transition to the wing than Spooner.

Maybe the best game of the year...looch and Griffith with 19+ ...nice work...thought 79 and 45 were fantastic tonight ....dougie is looking more like pietrangelo every night.....nice snipes from #25 as well. Was a real fun game to watch after I commented how boring they look.

Team is starting to become a team.

I'd love to see these youngins push the vets. The effort is there. There'll be some speed bumps, but tonight leaves me feeling optimistic.

Fraser's second goal was such a mouthwatering snipe. Beautiful feed by Soderberg too. He looked like a QB placing a ball in the perfect spot for his receiver.

When I heard Krejci would be out I pretty much wrote off Lucid but he was more involved than he usually is when Krejci isn't in the lineup.

Overall, the kids have done a good job holding down the fort. Hopefully they can keep it up. The Bruins are still a little up and down but they're starting to show a little more consistency.

Morrow has looked really steady and Warsofsky is alot like Krug, very mobile and good on PP.
I also thought Trotman looked good tonight.

All the kids had strong games tonight including Fraser and Griffith.

Add in what we've seen from Cunningham and Robins and the kids have not embarrassed themselves....personally I'm really impressed with warsofsky and morrow these two games...Griffith and Fraser w 2 goal games this year. .. Koko on his way...Knight getting good minutes...nice things going on.

PC and Claude know they will, it is why they still have their hands in their pockets.

The reason we are where we and both of them are were we are. :handclap:

Great effort by an undermanned team; maybe the best game of hte year. The only two players I didn't really like tonight were Gagne and Seidenberg.

Surprised Trotman was only mentioned once in this thread. I thought he looked absolutely fantastic tonight.

Griffith played well tonight after being invisible against Buffalo.Fraser actually impressed me with his skating ability tonight, didn't think he could move that well. The young D impressed particularly with their decision making, unless they totally fall off the map why play Bart?
