Why would it? Bruins more or less dominated the game until the 5on3.
Did people see a different game than I did? Other than Scott's manhandling of Thornton they weren't exactly knocking us all over the ice or anything. They capitalized on their chances and the Bruins didn't. Simple as that.
Not to keep repeating myself but 9 times out of 10, the Bruins win that game against the Sabres. A series of unfortunate events and uncharacteristic brain farts led to their loss.
I love my team with unequalled passion - but I am beginning to hate my fanbase with an equal amount.
Are you guys seriously so fragile that one single lopsided fight causes you to become completely unravelled?

MacDermid hung in there with Mike Rupp not even a year ago - maybe even took a win - and now he's useless, and he didn't even DO anything! You guys kill me. Good comedy, anyway.

B's need to play their game. Finish checks, strong on the puck, crash the net and for the love of Mikey take the shot if they have the ability to. Enough drop passes and trying to pass in traffic.

Nothing like a game vs Toronto to get Seguin going. If Seguin doesnt score tonight to the 4th line with him !!
Seguin had great scoring chances each game. When he'll stop getting glass with his shots, the goals will start to pile up again.
So Stafford gets to go free after elbowing Hamilton really good on the NHL

Why does everyone think Lucic is going to fight Orr and why do people even think it would be the same result? It was what? 6 years ago? Lucic is bigger now and more experienced.

Being in the 'leaf nation' geographic, what I have seen in the press is not about Kessel so much, but more about the younger guys like Kadri.
Hope the B's are more rested than when playing the sabres, and guys like Seguin and Hamilton coming 'home' to play will inspire them.

I'm in the same situation as you in regards to geography but I'll say the acc is a terrible place to watch a game. The rink is nice but the atmosphere is horrible.

I just want this game to hurry up and start. Never before have I seen a fan base (and certainly not ALL, but enough to make a presence) lose their minds after one dang game.
Are the Bruins going to be targeted? We suddenly need a roster full of enforcers?
I'm pretty sure what makes this Bruins team special is that if one guy falls, the team adapts and trusts in the system. No real superstars, a bunch of very talented guys that are multi-dimensional and successfully so.
That same system won them a Stanley Cup, if I recall correctly. Do you chicken Littles out there think that successful system has been scrapped after one fricking game?
