this team isn’t playing cohesive hockey. we’re seeing some good efforts, but not finishing. we miss chytil badly. mika at least looked incredibly good this game. kakko continues to steamroll. laf made s couple incredibly good setups that weren’t finished. this team is doing some good things, but we’re not a complete package.

I think it would be a bad idea to fire quinn now. wait until the end of the season. this season is lost. hope for more good lottery luck.

First 15 minutes were really good, last 10 were good, middle 35 were about the worst hockey they have played all season. I know Boston is really good but jeez that was ugly. This team desperately needs some forwards who are hard to play against outside of the 4th line and Kakko who is coming into his own.

At least the winner wasn't 5-hole. Our goalies are good for 1+ of those per game, already hit their quota.

-Generally really strong defensive effort
-Liked the 4th line
-Obligatory Adam Fox mention

Negatives:
-It sucks watching a team that can't score goals...hat tip to Rask for sure though. One of the best games I have seen him play.
-Panarin likely soft tissue injury
-Another rescheduled game
-Rat faced f*** OT winner

So 3 individual mistakes, Panarin, Trouba and Buchnevich, really cost. Plus a goalie that can't stop a breakaway... ufff..

If Panarin misses time they are really F’d. Only the 4th line scored. Top 6 has no goals in the last 2 games. Not sure of the Georgy bashing, he had a good game, didn’t get help from his defense.

I think Laf and Kakko both deserve time in the top 6 if Panarin is out for a while. Laf literally set up a few nice plays in the small amount of time he had with Strome.

We played good, we just can't finish.
