Those 18 games were what, a month ago? I don't care about the Olympics. For what seems like the 10th time this season, this is now two games in a row he's been bad.

Yeah two games. Big sample compared to the previous 20. What a tool. We get it, you don't like Lundqvist.

You're using 2 games to validate your opinion of him over the previous 20.

And Lundqvist is the one that needs a reality check?

I can't even take these forums seriously.

You know why? If Lundqvist pitches a shutout in the next game then we will be back to "King is back!" and we will have a slew of comments in "Just How Good Is This Team" thread about how this team is a contender.

It's one bad ****ing game. Get over it already.

Talbot isn't as good as Lundqvist. He isn't now. He never will be. He will never take a team to the Stanley Cup. Talbot will never win a Gold Medal. He will never win a Vezina. That's a reality check for you guys on the forum. Let that sink in.

Home ice play, home ice play, home ice play. That is the difference between the Rangers and a contender.

On a personal note, thank you guys for being cool during my first GDT as a moderator here. We have great fans! :yo:

"One bad game for Lundqvist." I love the guy, but man, I'm hearing that a lot this season.

Hank was bad, defensive zone coverage was worse.

Exposed.

Bye-bye Callahan (please for the love of God).

Kreider - can you post about how Talbot will be on the Canadian Olympic team in 2018 again? I need a good laugh :)

And again another reason we need more size to compete with the elite teams in the NHL

How people can still argue this amazes me

I had a feeling they would lose after so many chances that weren't converted, and some of those were due to them trying to be fancy.

I'm looking at you Steps, Kreider.

Still, can't blame that for the overall game.

Trade Cally for someone who can score/finish
Dump Boyle - he's dead weight
Bench Hank and ride Talbot for the next few games.

2 losses and they are almost out of the playoff standings. This is going down to the last game

This team is not winning the cup anytime soon.

Maybe I'm just being pessimistic right after a bad loss

Anyone that says that this game is proof that the whole Bruins team is better than the whole Rangers team needs to take a walk. This game is proof that Rask is an elite goalie and Lundqvist can only make saves when his defense allows cupcakes. The Rangers outplayed the Bruins, both teams' D sucked, but Rask made amazing saves, I'm still waiting for the first good save by Lundqvist. The guy fell apart. I wish Sochi were still playing and he stayed there. Clearly he cares more about team Sweden than the Rangers.
