Boston Bruins Offseason Prospect Update: Part 1
The offseason has begun, and this is the first article in a series of four focusing on Boston Bruins prospects outside the AHL and the season just completed. Those of you that are regular readers h…
I don’t quite understand why the Bruins didn’t sign Mantykivi and now seemingly Dyck. I understand roster spots can get tight and they want flexibility, but they don’t have the deepest pool or very many picks in the near future. I’m sure I don’t really know what I’m talking about, but it seems a little bit unwise from my perspective.Hey word on why he hasn't signed yet?
What's the hold up with signing this kid?

No clue but one would think they would want/need him signed with Ullmark more than likely being moved and Bussi possibly being in Boston next year. Kyle Keyser is also a UFA but they did recently sign Ryan Bischal out of Notre Dame and they still have DiPietro signed. So its not like they don't need him unless a deal for Linus is in the works with a goalie coming back, but you would think they would still want Dyck as he is coming off of a pretty good year.
Maybe he's looking for greener pastures
He re-enters the draftDoes he have to re-enter the draft or does he become a UFA?
i guess i like pelosi a lot more than most
@Saxon Eric we need an updated list. especially since there will be no picks until the 120s barring a trade![]()

I’m not sure Bussi is really a prospect anymore, he’s turning 26 in a month. I wish the Bruins had given him an nhl look during the season, because whatever he was during the season is likely going to be the version you get next year.
I feel goalies often take the longest to reach their full potential and have been able to stay in the league longer after getting there. Sure I probably have a bias after being treated to Tim Thomas, one of my all-time favorite players.I’m not sure Bussi is really a prospect anymore, he’s turning 26 in a month. No he isn’t. He turns 26 before September 15 so he loses his rookie eligibility.technically Bussi is still eligible for rookie of the year next year, so I am ok calling him a prospect. He will likely sign a 2 year deal this summer and be a UFA when it expires as well

I have 26 or 27 players ranked, depending on what happens to Reid Dyck today.
