Only rumors I had on Poitras was that Guelph was getting calls. I doubt Windsor was in on him. They wanted a goal scorer and Poitras is a playmaker. And Harrison has a history with Shane Wright (who they were sure they were going to get) and Matthew Maggio. As for Team Canada, I doubt he would have made the team even without the leg injury. Oh, and Poitras comparable is Matthew Poitras.

Big game for Harrison tonight. He should have fun.

Any chance Locmelis makes it to Providence sooner than later? I'm guessing US or Canada next year....

I caught the BC v. Vermont game in person with my family yesterday. Great time. My one game assessment is that Andre Gasseau is a much better pro prospect than Oskar Jellvik. Jellvik is quite small (5'9ish), though sturdy and a good skater but with no burst of speed. He has the puck on his stick a lot but I didn't see him make any great plays with it. He's skilled but not particularly creative. He reminds me of Oskar Steen, but without the physical play.

Gasseau is huge and made a few really good plays with his hands. He also showed some nice poise with the puck. Knock on Gasseau is super heavy boots. It was really obvious when he was on the ice with Cutter Gauthier, as the two players look almost identical, except Gauthier (a top 5 pick) has exceptionally quick feet and flies up the ice. Still, I can envision some sort of role for Gasseau in the NHL on a third or fourth line if his development goes exactly right. Could be a guy who is good on the wall, below the dots and in front of the net.

:thumbu::naughty: I can’t wait to see this kid play. Maybe I’ll start watching these games. I’ll have to see where I can find the broadcast

Loving all these posts. Thanks for all you do as always Dom!
As I told Eric I was talking to Dan for 2 hours and he said what are you doing today? I told him I was heading to Guelph for 2 pm matinee to watch Poitras. When that is over, I take a quick drive for a 6 pm game to watch Harrison return to Oshawa for a game. Then home to watch the Bruins on DVR. That's after getting up at 6 am to watch Locmelis.

I love Sundays.

Dipietro doesn't really impress me since his acquisition, tbth..... and the way this organization really needed him I'm more impressed w/ Brassard then DiPietro

What you provide to this board is invaluable. Truly. You do the hard work. And I know we say it a lot, but we appreciate it.

Harrison didn't make Canada Jr team.....he must be a bigger bust than Lysell....better trade him before other teams realize he has no value....there....how did I do ?

Silly, for any number of reasons.

Harrison has been insane so far in Windsor. Is he playing wing on a line with Wright now

What can those who have seen him in the AHL tell me about Bussi?

Does he have any upside as a #1 in the AHL?
really a unknown at this point from day 1..... because if you look back at Training camp.... nobody saw him in any of the exhibition games the big B's played...... and essentially where he began in Maine..... the only reason he landed in Providence and basically stuck there was Keyser's injury and from what it sounds like Mougenel is impressed enough to keep Bussi
